Hello, you've made a hole for the Window Installation Plate there. The package includes a 26-inch window sealing plate. 6'' x 3. The extension range is 37 inches, and the width is 9 inches. From 4'' to 50'' inches in length. Thank you very much.
Good day, Georgia. It should, especially if the room isn't baking in direct sunlight for the duration of the unit's operation (that Georgia sun is great for peaches because it's so hot!). Because I had some issues with the first unit, I recommend that you follow these steps: You must disconnect the fan for more than 3 minutes per the troubleshooting guide on pg 11 if it is not turned off for over 3 minutes. Do not close any doors and windows unless the fan is used to pull the plug, plug it in from outside, etc. It may be too much to hope for a closed SUNroom to be cooled in the middle of a hot, sunny day. Return to your room after 1 hour to see if it has cooled. Turn the unit off but do not unplug it, and take note of the displayed temperature (current room temperature). If the temperature has not been reduced by at least 5 degrees, preferably 10 degrees, contact the seller and report your findings, including how bright and sunny the room was during your test, to see what they recommend. Good luck, and I must admit that I am interested in hearing your results.

When you're getting ready for bed and want the machine to be a little quieter, switch to Sleep Mode.

It was a great investment- The machine itself is fairly loud; you can talk over it, but it's not at a normal volume. Overall, I'd buy it again because it's so good at keeping the room cool!.
While the unit's design is lovely, sleek, and contemporary, My problem stemmed from the fact that the unit was delivered with broken and missing components. br>br>As you can see from my photos, the item mentions that it includes a window mount. While the customer service representative was quick to respond and immediately stated that the mount would be shipped, I'm curious as to why it wasn't included in the box that appeared to have arrived from the factory. Second, as can be seen in the photos, the ventilation hose is not properly attached, which is unacceptable. Looking at my photos, it appears that someone cut the hose and then tried to cram it into the adapter. It fell off after only one (1) attachment to the unit, and I've been unable to reattach the hose without the use of duct tape. Is it working properly now? Yes. We are not, however, paying hundreds of dollars for a part that must be duct taped in order to function properly. There will be more deductions. How does the device function? br>br> It's fantastic. The air is cooled and the warm air is vented out in a matter of seconds. I like how the unit has a remote control and a temperature monitor. So, yes, the unit is a fantastic buy. Most people want to know how loud it is. br>br> I used a dbA (decibels adjusted) meter and found that it varies between 53 and 57 decibels from a distance of about 10' (feet). This appears to be the national average for all units. It's slightly louder than running a fan, because I usually sleep with one on. Again, it's not terrible. br>br>Overall, I'd give this unit a 4/5. I'd give it a 5/5 if it weren't for the shoddy vent hose and missing window mount. Aside from that, it does a fantastic job of cooling.
That is the most encouraging aspect of my order. It was shipped the same day I placed my order and arrived two days later. The unit has a good aesthetic. The size is very small (less than 2' tall). Because the temperature is so low, I need two fans to circulate the air in my room. I live in a converted schoolhouse, so my ceilings are very high, and my windows are 10' high by 55" wide, making it difficult to cool these rooms. The window kit is nice because it extends to 60", but the part where you clip the hose to the kit doesn't work because the grooves are cut too wide, so I used my magic masking tape, as I do with most portables. It quickly cooled down, but in terms of silence - NOT! There are two different speeds. There are two extremes in this game. Sleep Mode is set to the lowest volume possible, and it sounds like a freight train is passing through my room. It's been two nights in a row that I've had it. I don't believe the manufacturer's claim that it operates at 52-56 decibels. However, I am not aware of any portable air conditioners that are quiet enough. These things are just plain ugly, and if that's all you have, you're out of options. It's a different brand than the one in my living room. It is quieter than a train because it does not rumble. However, I bought this device because of the positive feedback. So it might just come down to personal preference and the amount of noise one can tolerate at night.
My package arrived on time! We had a part that appeared to be defective when we opened it, so I contacted the seller, and within two days I had a replacement part and was back up and running. This air conditioner works exceptionally well. It maintains a cool temperature in the bedroom. I like the extra features that come with this unit, and I like having the remote next to my bed so I don't have to get out of bed if it gets too cold. br>For the price, this is an excellent unit, and the customer service was excellent as well.
This is something I bought for my bedroom, and it's great. It doesn't turn on until the temperature you set is reached, but once it is, no matter how cold it gets, it stays on. It's a true air conditioner, not a swamp cooler, and it needs to be vented outside. Their window panel performs admirably, and I am pleased with it.
The machine functions as expected, but the tube continues to fall off. It's filled my house with hot air on a couple of occasions when it's been left unattended. I'll have to come up with a way to join the pieces. Then there's the window attachment, which you place in the gap in the window as shown in the picture. It has an extension part that allows it to be used for very large windows or even sliding doors, but it has a minimum width of 28", making it too large for the window I wanted to use it for. It also has a hard time remaining in the window. It's as if I have no idea why they thought it should stay. In this case, too, I'll have to come up with my own solutions. Who would allow such minor design flaws to derail a major product? br>br>Original post:br>br>This blasts cold air at you very powerfully in an instant. However, it takes a long time to fill a room. Also, aside from low and high, there are no other options. It would be nice to have a very low setting to keep just a nice breeze going without the noise; right now, it's all or nothing.
It does an excellent job and has been a godsend during these recent hot months. Cools down a small studio space while also cleaning and drying the air. The noise, however, is simply too loud for the studio. BUT, ANYTIME, I'll choose noise over humidity and heat. I had paid more for quieter, though. I had to pay $199 in taxes. It would also be beneficial to have a button that indicates when the backwater container is full. It's a pain to check manually. I'd have to keep track of how much I used and when I should drain it. When the machine is full, it usually just slows down. backing up Those who claim that it leaks. br>br> To drain it, you must twist it open and remove the nozzle. duh. If it leaks, it indicates that there is too much moisture in the air where you live because it fills up. If it comes down to it, you'll have to drain it at 5L per hour. My neighborhood doesn't appear to have much, and I don't use it for long enough to fill up once a week.
My floor was ruined by the water leak.
