I was able to easily open the air conditioner because it was packaged securely. A box just slipped off the straps after the straps had been Installing the AC was a breeze with all of the accessories included. So far, this has been the best window unit out of the three I've owned. This 10,000 BTU air conditioner offers excellent cooling and reduces room heat. The power is shut off until it needs to be cooled again when it's on energy saver. I use the system to cool my living room and kitchen which are 550 square feet. The temperature even got so low that I had to raise it. The temperatures in the house fluctuated between 75 and 85 degrees today, and I had trouble bringing the temperature below 75 with my other window unit. The temperature today was 67 degrees inside, which I found too cool. This is awesome! There's an AC in the same room as the TV, but I didn't have to turn it up for the TV to be heard The purchase will be a good one for you!.

They have only been here for a month, but so far we are very pleased with them. We've definitely kept our rooms cool under the solid structure of these windows and my husband is impressed with the robust build. While they are not quiet, I can't imagine an air conditioner with a capacity of that large could be that In addition, we were pleased with the durability of the curtains on the sides. As of yet, I haven't received an energy bill and it's too early to really comment on how efficient they are, but having them set to efficient is definitely helpful. The window should have a support, which I recommend people purchase. Our husband said that he wishes he could have bought them years ago. We've now purchased two of the two Amazon suggested. It really helps to have extra support when installing an air conditioner of this size.
The performance of my unit is very good, I'm very happy with it. As a result of Fedex's handling, it arrived damaged. It took about five minutes to bend the radiator fins back straight with an old credit card in the back after the base cabinet back was bent inwards (screws facing inwards) and the bottom of the unit cabinet had been bent inwards. Its front bezel is cracked on the right bottom side completely detached and it is nearly in the same state on the left side as well. There is no blame to be placed on the manufacturer. This was received on a Saturday evening. I was at home at the time. When he threw the AC on my driveway, I heard the truck come to my house, but not when it came to my house.
