Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how long the power cord is?

Hey there, I'm glad to meet you Your question is great! 6 feet is the length of the power cord for this dehumidifier. It is great to hear from you! Thanks so much! Is Mikayla @GEA

The diameter of the exhaust hose is what?

Five was the measurement I took. It has an outer diameter of 75" after it has been fitted with a 5" A surprising thing is that the manufacturer made a mistake and their answer was deemed more important.

The dehumidification function of this unit is not available because I didn't receive the drain hose. How can I use it?

The exhaust hose was not the only thing I used

Could you please let me know if this air conditioner uses the same amount of electricity and voltage as a standard window air conditioner that produces ?

Hey there, I'm glad to meet you Your question is great! 115 volts and 860 watts of cooling power are used in this air conditioner. It was nice of you to ask! Is Mikayla @GEA

When I use "Dry mode", the air is cooler than when I use There is something weird going on here
4/5

I have had this unit installed in my bedroom for a couple of weeks now, and I've been using the cool setting where you can adjust the temp down to 64F, and it basically runs until the temperature When in cool mode, you do not get a graphical readout of your current temperature It seemed strange to me. As a result of the "Fan" setting, the current residual temperature is displayed. --- Now for the interesting part When I set the unit to "dry", the unit blows cold air and updates its current temperature in real time. The unit drops lower than the cool mode does even when it is set to cool! It does seem somewhat odd to me, but I'm not sure if it's a malfunctioning unit.

A 9000 btu unit is underpowered for a 200 square foot house
3/5

An evaluation of the 9000 btu unit is presented here. There is enough room for up to 250 square feet, according to the manufacturer. With blackout curtains keeping the sunlight out, the cabin's interior area is 209 square feet, and when it's sunny out, the cabin's interior is reasonably cool when the unit is set at the lowest temperature, 64 °F, and the fan is on high. The temperature in the room only warms with a quiet medium speed fan, but the heat persists when the fan is set to low. Generally speaking, it is very well made, made with high quality materials, however, I expect that a higher BTU unit would be better suited to the job. This one will be returned so I can try the other one. It would be best to go with a 9000 btu unit for people who might only have 150 square feet. The other issue is that customer service could be better. I would prefer a larger room that isn't 95 degrees outside. have asked five times what the energy use specs are and I have only received an acknowledgement that my inquiry has been received, but I have never received an answer. I'm afraid of how much my electricity bill will be since it isn't Energy Star certified. In my opinion, the more robust unit should earn a four star rating, but the lack of guaranteed cooling power for this one brought down the rating However, it is also a well-known fact that If you think the size of the unit is appropriate for the room, it's probably worth it to try.

Rooms are small, but the house is tall and cool
4/5

Here are a few things I want to say about this unit. First of all, its not half bad as a whole unit. As I was in a hurry to get one because I knew it was going to be 100 for the next week, I did not fully research it. The hose listed is apparently short, although it does look like the stated size. My coffee table was not large enough to hold the unit and so I had to put it on that. I installed the window unit in no time at all. A swivel option is on the remote, but not on the unit, so you can move the air around. Dry mode is definitely comfortable, but cool mode is definitely cooler. I use this unit all day to cool my living room and kitchen which is a little over 200 square feet. I estimate there is about a 15 degree difference between the two rooms. I would suggest this unit is better recommended for bedrooms or small living rooms not for cooling the entire Noise is a bit of a problem, but it is manageable. The product is simply great for what it does for me. I probably wouldn't buy it again, however, over all I like it. It was early for me to receive the shipment.

A disappointing experience due to the noise
3/5

A number of reviews led me to purchase this product. There is so much noise coming from this unit. In addition, it does not function very well when it comes to cooling. That was a very disappointing experience.

There is such a thing as the little air conditioner that could
5/5

I was impressed with the performance of this air conditioner. While my expectations were of an item that would cool at a very close proximity, I was happily surprised when it cooled the whole room rather well, considering it was a three wall room on the upper floor of the house during 90 degree A second one might be a good purchase. I would highly recommend this product.

It is a small, compact, and powerhouse of a system
5/5

The unit is a monster! It really packs a punch! As long as the volume is not increased significantly, I can still hear the television without significant disruptions. The remote has only been with me for a week, so I have not mastered all its features yet, but the ability to use it anywhere in the house is very helpful. As a result, my one-bedroom apartment is cool and comfortable and it has been running on low speed. The compact size makes storing easy, and it can easily fit in a small space. While it cooled well, I had to use a bucket with a much larger unit. This is a great improvement. Since it has run almost non-stop for five days, it has not needed to empty its You won't be disappointed with this unit, if you are a senior. It is very easy to maintain.

The company has proven they are well suited for power plants as well as air conditioners
5/5

My expertise is in pipeline installation, and for the past 35 years i have worked for GE developing power plants. But online shopping with Amazon has been made so simple and easy that after only 2 hours of use, I knew I was making the right In addition to being an energy saver, it also has a thermostat, which my previous air conditioner did not have. The GE draws both high and low sides through the back , allowing both to be visually accessed. An air flow is provided from the top, and the flap opens when it is in use and automatically closes when it is not. One thing I would change is the connections on the air filtration hose, as they do not seem to be constructed as well as the rest of the mobile air conditioner system. Added a conditional.

This is a very good read for me
5/5

The design is sleek, unpacks easily, and assembles easily. This cooler looks nice, and I got the 9000 BTU model, and it did a good job cooling my double garage in humid, hot conditions. In no time, we'll be having summer weather in Virginia. Now, I'm not one who keeps the thermostat at 62 degrees. Still, I get cold easily even with the temperature at 74. However, all I wanted was for my garage to have a bearable temperature. In the garage, I managed to do a little assembling after the air conditioning had been running for about 4 hours, and it was the first time I did not sweat. Keeping it on high fan mode does not bother me, nor do I mind noise levels. It is inevitable that any AC unit you use, whether it be window or wall, will make noise. Despite the noise of the fan when it is set to low or medium, it is pretty quiet. So far I am satisfied with what this machine did for me for my purpose. I got great value for my money, I received it super quickly, and I received it in good condition. Once I install the software, I will let you know if anything breaks or ceases to work. We were able to move the box easily from the porch to the garage after it was delivered, we unpacked the box quickly, and we had no issues installing it. Thanks to the wheels, the unit moves very easily once it is assembled. While I am not sure if that is a flaw, I did get a strip at the window that wasn't covered, so I used duct tape to cover it, which isn't a huge concern for me as I am using it It might have been a mistake on my part, I'm very pleased with this! It's changed my life! The summer months will be the hottest time when I will run it continuously.
