It's been close to 2 years since I bought this new air conditioner, but I still love it. It is my practice to remove the vent assembly in the winter and reinstall it when necessary. I can still cool my home effectively with it. You should still check it out! As a matter of fact, I am ordering another one for my very hot laundry room right now.

Sometimes shopping online is challenging because reviews differ considerably. This unit was exactly what I needed and I am so happy I bought it despite the negative reviews! The air conditioner is quiet enough to make it comparable to central air conditioning? It's obvious that's not the case. If you expect it to be that way, you're not very bright. As long as it runs, the television volume doesn't even have to be raised. There was a tremendous amount of noise coming from our window unit, and even when sitting side by side on the sofa we could barely hear each other. You don't need television to hear you. I was surprised to discover it was so quiet. I had read so many reviews that it was so loud. The artwork is placed in a corner of the living room facing the middle of the living room, which has about a 15' by 30' footprint. A sea air vent is located near the window, but is well hid by my drapes (and some other stuff LOL). As soon as I switched the thermostat to 74, the room cooled down within ten We sit about 20 feet from the unit in the living room because it is longer than it is wide. My living room leads into our dining room/kitchen, and I can feel the cool air all the way through there, so the temperature is good in there. The only option I had for my master bedroom was to buy a second unit, but since this is portable I decided to just move it in. The pros are It would be nice if the manufacturer would make a shorter panel for the window vent. It was too wide for the window and we had to cut it down to size. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with this unit and would highly recommend it to my friends.

It has only been two days since I started using this thing and it has been a life saver. Where I live it can get up to 110F, but this air conditioner cools down my room in a matter of In order to reduce energy consumption, I configured it to turn off after 1 hour. So far, I've found it to be enjoyable to use. I don't expect it to cool down my entire living room, but I usually go to my room after work and it seems to do that well. This gets 5 stars in my book despite the user manual being less than helpful, but it would be nice to have an idea of how to install it from YouTube. I also don't like how loud it is, but I do think the benefit is so great that it makes up for the cons. In the event of any problems I will be sure to update my review, but for now, I would highly recommend this unit if you are looking to beat the summer heat. There were consistently high temperatures in my area throughout the summer, with temperatures ranging from 99F to 101F It was never hot inside at any time of the year. I have owned this portable air conditioner for three years now, and I believe it is the best purchase I have made. In the past 3 years that I have owned this AC unit, it has been a lifesaver when temperatures reached upwards of 119 degrees where I live. Although I have not regretted purchasing this, I am fully confident that if this one fails, I will immediately buy a new one In the current state of the market, however, I do not anticipate it failing anytime soon.

After that, I have to say my desert home can go through portable ac units like no one's This is the only unit I have ever owned throughout my entire house, which has been able to- Please note - It cools quickly and effectively without causing any noisebr>- I have used the product daily for more than a year
- It has not required any repairs or maintenance other than draining the reservoir and cleaning the vents. - It is auto-generated My ac actually shuts off when I want it to. It couldn't be better. I used it every morning and it works like new. But if you don't keep it clean and drained every so often, you won't get the extended life I have. Two years later and it still works great!.

According to the specifications, the unit is supposed to be 10,000 BTUs, but actually This discrepancy is caused by the fact that a machine uses 10,000 BTUs of energy, but only puts out 6,000 BTUs of cold air. By doing the research I should have done before making an impulse buy, I would have become aware of this and would never have purchased it.
