Questions & Answers

How much do filters cost, and how frequently do they need to be replaced?

Here are some incorrect responses that have been left. 'Take them out and clean them,' you don't do that. Only one of the four filters can be cleaned or washed. The remaining three can be switched out. It's CHEAP ($20 for 12) to replace the one you use the most (1x a month). The other two (charcoal and hepa) will set you back between $60 and $100. Depending on where you buy them, they cost around $90 per set and are replaced once a year. I have three dogs and two cats, and I live in the country - That's how I use it, and I think it's fair given that this is by far the best air purifier I've ever owned.

In a house, how many square feet will this cover?

I believe it does an excellent job of covering an area twice the published size; I've been using mine nonstop for 4 months and have not found any dust, dander, or airborne pet hair in a 750-square-foot open area. 800 square feet, with another 500 square feet adjacent to it greatly reduced. It's an open floor plan that works really well.

Is this air purifier still working for you, and would you buy it again?

Since the start of 2020, I've had two of them. I originally purchased one and was so pleased that I decided to purchase another. With two large dogs (120-pounds each), we moved into a brand new home. 140lbs. ) Between the dogs and the "new house smell," which includes VOCs, paint, and everything else that comes with it. This device is incredible! Check out the reviews and see who your competitors are. This unit was expected to be the best at its price. I have to agree with the opinions expressed in the reviews. To be honest, I haven't tried any of the competitors, but the Winix HR900 pet was one of the most affordable with the best reviews. All in all, I am very pleased with the quality and results for such a low price, and I would and most likely do so again. You're not going to be let down.

What kind of filters does this device use?

The HR900 is equipped with a total of ten U-shaped holes. Once a month, you should change the type filters. It also employs the T-filter. Every 12 months, the type will be changed. For those of us who own several pets, this is a must-have
5/5

The fact that it is specifically designed for pet owners piqued my interest in this product. Two dogs and three cats make up my household of five. It takes a lot of cleaning when we have guests with pet allergies. As a result, I was curious to see how this would play out. br>br>With its HEPA filter and fine mesh pre-filter, the product claims to capture pet dander, collect pet hair, and absorb odors. carbon filters, as well as deodorized carbon filters It also claims to capture 99 percent of the population. 97% of pollutants in the air, pet dander and allergens are in the air. So far, there is no reason for me to doubt these assertions. The filter does exactly what it claims to do, and it's also simple to set up and maintain. br>br>Here are some more details about the Winix Air Cleaner: It has a simple, linear design that blends in nicely with our open family room/kitchen area, and it's simple to operate. In auto mode, you can choose from four speeds: low, medium, high, and turbo (we used medium). The pre- The carbon filter and true HELPA filter have a 12-month lifespan, and the pet filter is easy to install. br>br>I like that the product comes with a simple instruction book (which is missing from so many products these days) that allowed me to quickly get this product up and running (literally in minutes) and ensured that I was doing everything correctly. br>br>So far, the Winix Air Cleaner has been a big hit with me. It's a must-have for those of us who have multiple pets, and it's so quiet that you won't even notice it's on.

With a few minor drawbacks, it's a fantastic product
5/5

My husband and I purchased the Winix air purifier because we have three cats and one dog in a two-bedroom home in one of the country's top ten cities for poor air quality. I had the impression that our air quality was poor. We knew we were correct after turning on the Winix Pet. It quickly turned amber and ramped up to medium flow once it got going! I haven't checked the air filter in over two weeks, but I'm confident the pre-filter is in good shape. In our pet-friendly home, the filter is working overtime. It runs very quietly unless it's in turbo mode, and even then it's not bad. I'm not as excited about the sleep mode; I've walked past it several times and wondered why the light wasn't on, only to discover that it's on but the light is off, and I just wish the indicator was dimmed rather than removed entirely. In addition, the air blows very weakly in this setting, and I have the impression that the air will not circulate sufficiently. Minor flaws in an otherwise excellent and reasonably priced product. br>br>Now that I've had the Winix HR900 for a few months, I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations. With three cats and one dog, we downsized from a two-bedroom apartment to a studio! When I ask visitors what they smell, they either say nothing or clean laundry (thank goodness), so I'd say it works!.

Long-haired dog owners will love this! Dog- a welcoming residence - We have a larger number of fours
4/5

With four dogs in our house, we have more than two legs. One is a Golden Retriever, while the other is a German Shepherd, and both shed. One for my bedroom and the other for my living room, I purchased two units. After three weeks, I went to replace the pet filter and discovered that it was literally covered in Golden hair that had become attached to the filter. On a rainy day, my house usually smells damp and full of muddy paw prints. My house has a normal odor now. These air purifiers are extremely beneficial! I was a skeptic at first, but after three weeks of use, I'm a believer.

Honeywell, Winix, and Boneco are three of the most well-known brands in the industry
4/5

Honeywell Bluetooth Smart AirGenius 6 Air Cleaner/Odor Reducer (RRP $419) 95). The main filter can be washed (a huge benefit) and only the pre-filter needs to be replaced. Filter four times a year, and each tub costs around $7. It's very quiet, energy-efficient, and has a Bluetooth / app. br>br>I had two Boneco Swiss Air Purifiers (P400 and P500), and the filter replacements were costing me $80-$100 each. Every 9-minutes, there are 100 people. They cost around $250-$300 per month for a year. 300, but it only gets more expensive to maintain after a few years. br>br>At the time of this review, the Winix HR900 costs $305. However, when it comes to design, I prefer Boneco and Winix because the air intake is on the sides and the outtake is on the back top, blowing air from the unit's top. This allows it to be placed closer to a wall. The Honeywell unit takes in air from the back middle and exhausts it from the front middle. The problem is that you don't want to put it up against or near a wall because it appears to be ineffective. br>br>Because the Winix is wider than the Boneco, it takes up a little more room. Both are best used in much larger spaces. Both units have filters: the Boneco has a hepa filter (a variety of types that cost about $80 per year to replace) and the pre-filter on the pre-filter on the pre-filter on the pre-filter on the pre-filter on the pre-filter on the pre-filter on the pre-filter on the prefilter on the pre-filter It is possible to wash the filter screen. The Winix machine has several layers, including a hepa filter and carbon filter that are two separate parts (size T filters cost about $80 per year to replace), a prescreen filter (washable), and a thin filter for homes with pets to catch finer particles (size U screens cost $20 for a pack of 12). 1. br>br> Maintenance Charges: Honeywell is my preferred brand, followed by Boneco, and finally Winixbr>2. Savings on energy: Honeywell is a close second, followed by Winix. br>3 Versatility in terms of room placement: Boneco and Winix are my favoritesbr>4. Sound: On Turbo, the Winix is extremely loud; on high, it is quieter than the Boneco; and the Honeywell is extremely quiet.
5. Larger rooms: Winixbr>6 is a program that allows you to play video games on your computer. Pet-Friendly Residences: Overall, if you have the space to put it away from a wall and don't mind the unit blowing air out the front, the Honeywell is a good choice. I prefer to keep the Boneco in the bedroom because there isn't enough room in the living room for me to have a unit that is too close to a wall and cause me to trip. In a larger living space or in a home with pets, the Winix would be far superior.

The operation is of excellent quality and is very quiet
5/5

Quiet and up to par with all expectations. I purchased two for the family room and living room, and I plan to purchase a third for the master bedroom. This appliance appears to work well in automatic mode, so it's a "set it and forget it" appliance.

owning a property So far, everything has worked out well. I brought a cat into my house after having a dog and having allergies. I'm fine with Flonaze and this machine; the first filter suckers up even the tiniest strands of hair. In six months, I'll re-evaluate - 1 year.
