BETTER RESULTS WITH UNIQUE PULSATING FEATURE: Enerzen's O-888 circuit board with 20,000 mg/h adjusts fan speed and ozone output to create a "pulsating" effect, assisting in the destruction of any lingering "musty" or imbedded odors and resulting in longer-lasting treatments.
DESTROYS ODORS THAT ARE HARD TO REACH: Ozone reacts directly with contaminants in the air, water, fabrics, and walls, destroying them rather than masking them. It does not require air to pass through the machine in order to remove odors, unlike other types of air purifiers.
COMMON APPLICATIONS: Odor decontamination in automobiles, boats, dumpsters, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, flood and fire-damaged areas, and any cooking, smoking, pet, "musty," or general odors.
OPERATION IS EASY: Simply turn the timer knob. Allow for some breathing room. Allow an additional 30 minutes for any residual ozone to revert back to breathable air after ozone generation is completed.
WARNING: Ozone generators should only be used in areas that are not occupied. People, pets, and plants should all be removed. After 30 minutes of "airing out," the room can be re-occupied.

Questions & Answers

I'll have to move the air upstairs to vent it out the windows after I run this in my basement. Do I need to move my turtles from upstairs?

After using ozone, it is not necessary to vent it. One of the many reasons we switched from other methods to treat our musty basement is because of the huge benefits it provides. Simply put, it decomposes back into oxygen. The speed with which it vanishes is determined by the concentration reached and the room temperature, but in general, when using ozone, it is recommended that you wait 2 hours before opening the room or providing any ventilation. br>br> We have chinchillas, dogs, cats, and snakes upstairs in ours. We experimented with a lower concentration and exposure time to see how we and the animals reacted. Now we simply close the basement door and, if we're running a higher concentration than usual, turn off the furnace entirely to prevent any air from circulating throughout the house. We opened the basement and turned on the heat/ac without issue 2 hours after the ozone source was turned off. In just two days, any lingering ozone odor was completely gone. Even when using a much stronger ozone source for shorter shock treatments, 3 hours is the maximum time allowed.

Why did it say "sorry, item cannot be shipped to:" when I tried to buy these as gifts for everyone in my family a few weeks ago? What are the states of California, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Nevada?

In my attic, I had a mold problem that needed to be addressed
5/5

I didn't see many reviews for it being used to treat mold, but I decided to give it a try. My attic (flat roof, 21" ave height, 15" fiberglass batt insulation) had a strong mold odor due to roof leaks. My ductwork and 3rd floor were filled with the stench. Before they could give me an estimate, mold remediators insisted on taking several air samples, which cost $800. Ripping down sheetrock and insulation, possibly even in walls, as well as possibly ripping out carpet and discarding furniture, was the standard solution. They'd use air cleaners, hazmat suits, and other tools to treat the attic, walls, and other areas. I ran the generator for three hours in each of four locations in the attic, raising it above the insulation (ozone is heavier than air, so raise the generator). The air began to smell normal after the first one. I ran through the other three attic locations as well as all of the rooms on the third floor. I turned off the air conditioning to prevent it from infiltrating the house until the final treatment (to remove the ducts). It's been about two weeks, and the attic is still smelling wonderful. Based on odor (it smells), it appears that ozone passes through painted sheetrock and down framing to some extent. I tried to avoid inhaling ozone as much as possible and left the house when the smell became unbearable. After that, I had a scratchy throat. I'm curious to see if the mold was killed or if it will return over time, and I'll try to write an update in a month or so to let you know. The generator's instructions aren't very specific about how to use it. To figure out how, I did a lot of online research. If the concentration of ozone is high enough for a long period of time, mold will be killed. Ozone has the potential to harm plastic coatings on wiring, plants, and organic materials such as rubber (gaskets?). ) as well as oxidize metal I asked a corrosive expert if it would harm plastic flexduct, and he said no, but I haven't seen any damage so far.

It's a beast
5/5

This is something I really enjoy. Story of origin: I purchased a house with the intention of flipping it, but it had been heavily smoked in. After doing some research, I discovered that ozone generators are used in houses that have been damaged by fire or water (mold). So I devised a sound strategy for getting rid of the cigarette smoke smell in the house. br>br>1) Rip up and remove all carpet as soon as possible. If you don't do this, the stench will stay with you forever. br>2) Next, use a cleaning agent to clean the walls and ceilings. I used TSP (tri sodium phosphate)br>3) Use the appropriate cleaning agent to clean all surfaces, windows, cabinets, tiled floors, wood floors, light fixtures, and other items. I used a bleach mixture on the tiled floors in the kitchen and bathroom, then a vinegar-based solution on the cabinets and other surfaces. In a number of places, I also used lysol multi-surface cleaners. br>4) After washing everything (including the ceilings), I reversed the airflow upwards by flicking the switch on the ceiling fan blades and activated the Enerzen ozone generator. I sealed each room and gave each room a one-hour treatment until all of them had been treated. At this point, the odor had almost vanished. It didn't appear to have been smoked in at all. I also used a box fan to blow the ozone into the ceiling fans, allowing it to spread throughout the space. Ozone is heavier than air, so keep that in mind. You'll need to raise it high enough for it to disperse and eliminate everything properly. br>4) After that, I primed everything with Kilz original primer. This is an oil-based primer that seals walls, preventing tar, tobacco, and nicotine from adhering to them. br>5) After priming everything, including the ceilings, I proceeded to paint as usual. On the ceilings, some white was used, and the walls were painted in neutral colors. br>6) After that, I put down new hardwood, carpet, and other types of flooring. br>br>Everyone commented on how clean and new the house smelled. It was absolutely fantastic. Obviously, the ozone treatments were the tipping point. I can't believe I was able to get such a powerful ozone generator for such a low price. This thing had a lot of power. This is a product that I would strongly recommend to anyone. 5/5. If you're doing a cigarette-smoking rehab in your home, you'll need this!.

Unit of 9,000 mg
5/5

I don't write many reviews and prefer to read those from people who have used a product for a long time, but I feel compelled to make an exception in this case. I don't know how long the unit will last because I've only had it for a few days. br>br>There are no words to adequately describe how incredible this is. This was purchased to combat bad pet odors, specifically urine. It's a long story, but I used to live in a house that was heavily scented with ammonia from dog urine, to the point where it was impossible to breathe. It not only got rid of the stench of urine, but it also got rid of the stench of cigarette smoke. I've tried a variety of chemical treatments for pet urine, but none of them have worked as well as this. This house will most likely require multiple treatments, but the difference after just a few is incredible. You have no idea how bad things were. I don't have asthma, but I now understand what it's like for someone who does.

Yes, ozone smells different and it lingers for a few hours and the rest in a day but it goes away quickly, 90% in a few hour I haven't used it in the worst part of the house yet because I need to remove carpet, but the results thus far have given me hope that the house can be saved. I'll update if anything changes, but for now, all I have to say is "Wow. ".
