Questions & Answers
There is a swivel and a rocker. You can use it for rocking and gliding. This one fitted right in the same bolt holes as the recliner I had before. I just replaced the old one with the new one. The only ones that swivel are those.
Does your recliner have a stationary base? It would not work if it were a recliner, but if it was not a chair and had a solid base, it could. Be sure that the diameter of the chair will fit under it.
Since I haven't ordered this for awhile, I am not too sure if it is still available.
Does it have a diagonal distance or a square side? The one I need has a diagonal distance of 8" but a square side of roughly 5". Distance from one square side to another of 65". Let me know if you agree.

As I wanted to turn two rocker recliners into swivel rocker recliners, I wanted to make them swivel. It was simply a matter of trimming a piece of plywood to fit within the metal framework of the chair (between the feet of the chair, not across the entire base of the chair - the idea is to keep the chair looking like it is made from metal). A chair framework did not have to be removed from the existing chair). On the metal framework of the chair, two pre-existing holes lined up perfectly with the holes in the baseplate of the swivel ring The two additional holes in the plywood were drilled by my husband to align the two holes on the base plate to attach it He then drilled two more holes through the plywood at the position where it could be attached to a parallel metal bar along the chair's back frame. Six bolts, lock washers, and nuts were used to attach the swivel ring base to the metal framework at the bottom of each chair. In addition to being able to swivel safely, smoothly, and quietly, the chairs can be swiveled around to chat with people in all areas of the room, and the added bases don't make them too high to sit on comfortably. It is an excellent choice for anyone who wishes to convert their chair into a swivel chair - it is both sturdy and attractive - The only thing you would need to do is make sure the plywood fits where it is needed. We take care of everything quickly and easily. There was no special tool required except a small piece of plywood cut to match the chair's existing framework, a ruler, a pencil, a drill, and fasteners. A half hour's time was needed to turn two chairs into tables.
The swivel base is made from high-quality materials and is well-crafted. My rocking recliner now has this 24" swivel base. It is excellent quality for the price. In order to attach the recliner base to the chair, I purchased a thin wood board from Lowe's that measures 2'x 3', but any hard wood would work. Several bolts and nuts can be purchased at harbor Freight Tools for a few dollars. By cutting the board in half, you will get two boards. Make sure to counter sink the bolts when attaching the boards to the frame of the chair. After attaching the boards, you should attach the swivel base. Ensure that all holes are drilled ahead of time Those of you who are handy should be able to do this without any problems.
, and I, too, The swivel ring base ring was attached to a Lazy Boy recliner by another 71 year old woman. Also, I reviewed the "how to" section on You Tube. We had to install eight bolts and eight nylon lock nuts along with a 3/4" piece of I like how it works.
The purpose of this purchase was to add a swivel function to my dad's I've had it for a long time and love it for the way it rotates smoothly and easily. Although hardware isn't included, you must purchase it separately. Based on the project, I used 1/4" carriage bolts and a nylon locknut for mounting onto 3/4" plywood, but it was too short (mounting onto 1/4" The number I used was 1 Install the carriage bolts with 1-1/2" head length and make sure they clear the motor/mechanic on the bottom of the chair A fourth could have been used, but they were not in stock). He has no further to worry, and now that he has a chair, he can join the discussion in his living room (if he so chooses. ) I am laughing).
An old leather rocker/recliner that is about 5 years old has been my favorite for a long time. A few months ago Although the chair seemed unstable, it turned out to be able to withstand the pressure placed on it The steel arm attachments of three of the four wheel bases were As I searched for repair options, I came across this product, which seemed to be a good fit based on the reviews. My part was not only what I needed it was also exactly how I wanted it. In comparison with the original base, this one is much stronger and better quality. You'd imagine the base of this chair would be heavy duty, but when you compare it to the replacement, it is clearly more durable. I spent about 20 minutes installing the base, but only because it was a little difficult to remove the screws on the original The floor was covered with three pieces of broken glass when I removed it. The new one took about five minutes to install. Purchase made in great condition.
It is simple and easy to use this piece to turn club chairs into swivel chairs. The only thing I have to do is stop kids from spinning, but it's worked great so far.
i really enjoy using it. I attached it to a movie theater chair, so we could roll it around like a real chair. Having said that, I am buying 3 more of these to complete my project. I only gave it 4 stars because it does not come with any There was some 1/4-inch left over, so I went to get it A total of 20 carriage bolts are used. The 5/16 bolts I already had would have probably fit, but the 3/8 bolts I already had were much too large.
We've beefed it up so much more and it's much stronger than when we sent it out! A cheap metal tube was all that was used in the original chair. It has a very smooth motion and is made of very strong metal. There will be no more squeaks! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book!.
