It's a plug-in, not a plug-out. There are no batteries in this project. It stops working when there is no access to A/C power.

A Dewert 50757 with a 24 has been given to me. 5 v dc. I'm not sure if it's number 2 or not. 0a. Is this something you can do?

This will not work for me because I have a Dewert with two battery backups. The hand control on my transformer has both a universal two-pin and a five-pin connection. This is a two-pin connector, and connecting it closes the circuit, allowing the chair to open on its own.

Now what? I found the model number on the bottom of the power pack and entered it into Amazon. com. There were a couple of things that came up. This one drew my attention because both the power supply and the cord were only $20. Maybe two issues were solved, I reasoned. "This looks too easy, it can't be right," I thought when I received the box. " Well, I had the power pack connected to the couch and the power cord connected to the chair in about 30 seconds. I'm sitting on my couch, reclining, typing this. WOW! I am completely overjoyed! This is never the case! Nonetheless, wow, it happened today! I'm in ecstasy right now. Both our couch and chair have been restored to their former glory. WOOHOO!.

The original ac adapters that came with my reclining sofa were defective because the cords were too short, and the bottoms of the recliner parts ended up smashing the ac adapters, rendering them useless

I replaced them with this product and leaned the adapter "brick" parts against the wall; I haven't had any issues since.

I have an electronic recliner for which my cat destroyed the original power cord (and I can't blame him because he's so adorable), but this was a great price to replace it so I didn't have to buy a new one. The value for money is excellent; I estimate that it will save me $800 over the cost of a new recliner, making it an EXCELLENT purchase for me.

Last year, we purchased power recliners for our RV and within a few weeks, the power box in each recliner had been crushed. I packed it up and put it away for the time being. I have an electric reclining chair, and the original extension cord that this one replaces was lost. , It's an unusual type of extension cord, which could explain why it's so expensive, but the price for a 12 foot extension cord still seems a little high.
