It was extremely simple to set up and operate. Our couch, which has a recliner on both ends, was purchased from Beck's Furniture. The wire had worn out, and we were able to get it to work as soon as we replaced it. It pops open if you sit down too quickly (plop into the seat) or don't close it tightly enough. We aren't particularly large people, and it doesn't take much to do that to us. However, I'm not sure if that's due to this piece or a different issue with the couch, so I'll give it a 5-star rating. a 5-star rating In addition, Beck's wanted to charge us $150 to replace the entire reclining system on one side when all we needed was this piece. We're glad we tried to repair it ourselves first!.

We didn't have to buy a new couch because of these! One of the original release mechanisms broke, and I attempted but failed to repair it. I had no intention of purchasing a new set. This one was only a few years old at the time. I looked for one to replace the one that had broken. When I saw this item, I decided to buy two of them. I replaced the broken one as well as the other side, which had become difficult to work with. I just ordered a new one for my recliner.

I don't know how long it will last because it is so new, but I just received it and installed it in a matter of minutes. It's fantastic! I ordered a few extras just in case one of them breaks. (It's made of plastic, and the handle's plastic end previously broke. ) There's a video on one of these things that basically shows you how to do it, and also just look at how it's in there; it's held in place by a clip that squeezes to release and a z hook that goes into a hole, as well as the two screws in the handle. I hope this has been of assistance.

Fit my RTG recliner perfectly, and it now functions as follows: new! It was very simple to install because I used the existing cable from my recliner rather than the new one. The recliner didn't have to be turned over as a result. If your existing cable is in good shape and all you need to do is replace the pull lever, simply detach the new cable, hook the pull lever to your existing cable, and you're ready to go. Less effort means more time in the recliner to relax!.
