Fits perfectly inside. It occurred occasionally that the slats would fall from my beam because the beam was sagging. As it is made to be screwed into wood, I thought this might not be able to work, but it slipped right into the metal support and adjusted low enough to suit. A much better choice than replacing the frame, because it is much easier and less expensive to do!.
As a matter of fact, I have a memory foam mattress that rests on a thin wooden platform board. If you have one of these, you understand A bed is made up of wood slats on which a mattress and board are placed. Under the weight of the books, the slats began to sag. It kept slipping when I tried to use a block of wood standing on its end. It solved the problem to use this metal support. if you want to do the job right you might need three of them. One of these was used in the center, and I cut the table legs to size to match the other slats on each end. The reason I was being cheap was that I was I did manage to set it up with the wood legs, but it was not worth the effort. These things would have been perfect for me if I had bought three of them.
The lady I bought a queensize bed from did not have the center support legs that are supposed to screw into the slats, so I had to set the bed up without them. I was thankfully surprised to find that Amazon had more than one option for an item I had never heard of prior to As the photos show them to be fragile and spindly, I was a little skeptical about purchasing them. However, when they arrived, I was quite relieved to find they are very sturdy. The devices were easy to set up. Marking the perimeter of the screw holes, drilling pilot holes, and marking the screw holes on the board was all we needed This is a quick and easy process. Please ensure your order is accurate by measuring the distance from the floor to the frame or slat You should order the correct size. My advice is not to order a smaller size because you will have to extend it as far as you can. You'd be asking for trouble if you did that. In addition to the plastic gliders at the bottom to prevent damage to flooring, I'm glad the foot or bottom has a ball. These are doing a great job so far!.
There was an additional $1 charge because it appears to be black in the pictures. My antique couch has an open front and I intend to use this as the center of it. It was important to me that the black stand out as much as possible. There is no curved part on the Silver one I received, so it does reflect light, which makes it more visible. There was no response when I reached out to the seller through Amazon. The customer service representative said to return the item and order it If so, will I just get another silver one, or will I have to buy another Do the pictures depict the correct one or did someone in the warehouse just grab one out of the wrong box? See my 2 pictures, I received the silver one, the picture on the page shows the black one. It adds stability to the couch and otherwise functions as intended. The bed we were using for years was squeaky, but we couldn't find a way to fix it It wasn't until we bought these supports that we were able to move forward. We immediately noticed a difference in the squeakiness of our bed after installing them, and we are very pleased. There's no cost. While they're a bit pricey, they're definitely worth the money.
Included is a bare-bones version The bones instructions seem more verbose than the IKEA instructions. I find that the support without the extension is too short for my bed, but with the extension it is too long. Every possible combination and variation with and without the extension have been tried, but this product simply does There is nothing but frustration in this situation. Please save your money (and nerves) and look for another website.
After setting it up, the product worked and the center of the king size bed was stabilized, but when I made the first adjustment, the threaded plastic sleeve cracked in two. only made it more difficult to adjust, but it still does what it was intended to do.
It seemed promising at first, but they failed after a few days. There is flex in the screw piece which makes it impossible for adjustments to be made. There is the possibility that it would work if it was not extended at all. There is a plastic base and hardwood bed, as well as the non slip item. I still couldn't get it to Sellers were never able to respond to my contact. My solution ended up being to donate them to Goodwill and build/add additional support as well. I would recommend doing things properly and not doing The process ended up taking more time and money than I expected.
