A plastic insert in the wheels of an older bed frame disintegrated from age, forcing the wheels to fall off as we moved the frame. We put new inserts in place of new wheels largely because it's as expensive as just getting new feet instead. The ones that seem to work are these, but they are a bit loose. I measured the diameter of the holes in the bed frame and these are the ones that seem to work. As a result, I used paper towel to wrap around the metal pin, and it inserted fine and stayed in place. Occasionally, I would imagine that overseas manufacturers may not have the right parts, but we managed to make it work in the end.

The reason I chose this particular product was because it already came with socket sleeves (or inserts). In the end, the provided socket sleeves were too big to fit the half-diamond sockets I have a socket on my bed frame that is 12 inches in diameter. Consequently, the socket sleeves that I used for the sockets split when I tried to hammer them. It turned out I needed different socket sleeves for half-size feet in order to make these work There is an additional cost of $2 for inch sockets at the ACE hardware store. Additionally, there are not enough dimensional details in the product description to make sure you know what you are purchasing. A diameter for the feet or a measurement for the socket sleeves are not provided in the product information, for example. Two inches are the diameter of the feet that are touching the ground.

Half inch is the size of the caps. Make sure you order the right size fitting before you place your order. It came exactly as pictured, but they are too small to fit the size of my bedframe and I don't want to lose them.

There was no indication of the size of the brown rubber opening on this item, so it was too small for my purposes. In addition, I tried to cut/sand the inside so that my pole could fit in, but that didn't work either. As it turned out, I didn't need to fit my pole INSIDE the brown part, because I could simply place it on top and it wouldn't wobble much. The shelf will be used to raise the metal shelf that wraps around/over the toilet in the bathroom, not as a bed.
