Questions & Answers

There are metal rails on the side of the bed I have It is possible to use this with an all-in-one What is the metal frame made of? It's a question of opinion. One reviewer claims that it will not work, but the product description says that it will work with both metal and wooden Can you tell me what happened?

I have an answer that is a little mixed You CAN use it with metal frames of almost any type, though certain frames will be easier to work with than Bolting the support to a metal frame is possible because it includes the hardware to do so. * The tricky part is that with a wood frame, the cross rails can simply be screwed to the top where they rest. Most metal frames have some holes already drilled in them. Although the supports may not perfectly align with all the holes in the cross rails since they have a fixed spacing between them, the holes may be drilled in them along the In the case of a metal bed frame, the options usually include 5) Place the lip of the cross struts on the inside of your bedrail. Install as many holes as will fit in the plan and leave the rest unbolted. While it isn't the most secure option, it is a good alternative. *br>2) Drill 1/4" holes in your bed frame with a bit made for metal that line up with the ends of the cross supports so that all six points can be bolted down. *br>It is definitely possible to use this with a steel frame, and will provide good support, but you won't find it quite as easy as with a wooden You may already have some pre-existing corrosion on your metal frame If you have drilled holes in your concrete, you may consider using the Mighty Lift FQU-42 A font without a fixed spacing is 11 In this way, you will be able to arrange the cross rails to meet the pre-planned route The holes have been drilled.

Those screws can be screwed into the wooden rails directly? Does a bunkie board still need to be added to add additional support, even though a box spring is present?

In the case of a boxspring, there is no need for a bunky board. On my X-Treme, I mounted the camera The wooden rails that used to support the wooden slats on my bed served as a support system for the rails. I used six wood screws to complete the job, three on each side. My mattress is a heavy king, and I have two box springs supporting Support does not need to be provided because everything works well.

Is it possible to use this system under the "plastic boxes" that sleep number mattresses rest on?

The mattress support frame should still be separated from the mattress by at least one layer of wood. My favorite wood from Loews was yellow pine. I covered the bed frame with the wood, making sure it was firmly attached to the frame The bed I used was a standard Sleep number beds have given me good support in the past. I currently own a sleep number bed myself. In light of the fact that these are such an expensive unit, I don't wish to risk damaging them. Besides, I got rid of the frame (nothing wrong with it, but I still love it) and bought a support system with sleep number instead You know, those kinds you can lift your foot and head with. It has been a pleasure to have a happy back ever It would be impossible for me to install the sleep number unit on this frame without additional supports You can use pine boards (3/4 or 2"). I wish you the best of

Do I need a box spring to use this bed, or can I lay my mattress directly What do I need to go along with this bed? Do I need a box spring or a set of dlats?

Thank you for contacting us. Box springs are required to be used with the product.

It has one flaw, but it's a good product
4/5

Sturdy and providing great support, this frame does its job. This desk is made almost entirely of metal except for one very important part. As mentioned in earlier reviews, the plastic portion that screws into the leg is almost certain to fail. As to why that part was not made from metal, or at least threaded metal, is beyond me. In the long run, the plastic piece will weaken due to the weight being placed on the plastic threads (see pictures provided by other Reviewers). You don't need to worry about this deterring you from purchasing this product. All you need to do is run to Lowes or Home Depot and get three 3/8 nuts (16 threads) and three 3/8 washers (both cost me less than $2 each). Remove the plastic piece from the leg, insert the nut down the leg, and then place the washer on top. You should then screw this leg into the plastic piece and assemble it. As soon as all the parts are in place, screw the nut and washer on to the plastic piece to reinforce It is an inexpensive fix, and will save you from the frustration of.

This is a great program with great support
5/5

The product we needed is excellent and this is exactly that. The wooden slats used to come out constantly because they were made of so much wood. It is easy to assemble. This support is perfect Ignore the reviews of other players who say otherwise. If you can understand a two-page instruction sheet and apply common sense, you'll be fine. The only thing that I do not like about the steel supports is that they are very far apart. I added a few wood slats for additional If it weren't for the extra stability, I am sure it would have been fine.

I urge you to read this first! To replace the original one that came with our bed, we bought this one
4/5

The plan failed within a short time. The construction of this one is nice, strong, and well-designed. There is only one catch - the plastic piece where the leg screws in. A pair of them broke after about 11 months, the plastic stretched and broke after being stretched. The reviewer suggested I use a washer and spacer to add support, so instead of calling the company and trying to get parts, I took the old one and sandwiched it between a standard nut and washer, then used a square nut on top to hold it in place. For about five bucks, I did this to all three of them, and I think it will make them last As a result of that I have given it 4 stars, but other than that it is a great product and a.

Here is a photo that shows you how to install it
5/5

It was useless to follow the instructions. As you can see in picture one, I set up my computer to watch an online video, which was a basic video. The foot in picture 2 is attached using a 3/8 16 bolt and a 3/8 washer and 1/2 inch thick. This step should not be skipped. A couple of dollars is all it costs to purchase these items. Your post included this step, so I wanted to thank you for that. As seen in picture three, I added a rubber bottom (I cut up one of my rubber jar opener pads- The dollar store) I didn't want it to slip on the floor. My next step was to measure and attach a screw to one metal slat only but not securely so I could As a next step, I measured to make sure the foot was 30 inches long In the middle of the road. So that the first metal slat faces the back of the bed, the lock should be facing out. As you can see in the video, tighten. You can watch my photos and follow my videos on it. Tighten the 3/8 bolt below the washer on the foot after placing the first metal slat on top. BE SURE TO CHECK EVERY FOOT OF YOUR BOOTS Connect the cross brace to the next metal slat and continue in this manner. You will learn how to do that in the video. Start by attaching the cross bar to the middle metal slat and not the first. Attach the middle slat to the first metal slat once the middle is secure. Make sure that the middle rail is not screwed down, but left open to be adjusted. As for the last metal slat, repeat the same procedure as for the rails and feet. Please refer to my video and photos for a demonstration of how to attach two rails. In the final step, tighten screws on both sides of the foot. Finally, secure screws on both sides of the I've done it. The event started at 345 p. m. At 1515 and 505, the event ended. A great deal of security is provided. The women who needed this are the ones I did this for. In spite of my age, I found the instructions useless and the video boring. Hopefully, this will help all my sisters who are out there on their What can you tell me about my retired teaching career? It's time for me to repay Amazon.

With the exception of the plastic bits, a strong frame
3/5

A bed frame like this is a great option if you need to replace (or purchase) some bed slats. I was impressed with the quality of the metal parts The parts that were made of plastic broke within 2 months after they were built. When 2 adults and 2 children are present, it is a bit of a challenge On a king-size bed, 3 large dogs can be seen Besides the weight of the bed, there is a lot of material that goes into it. A weight limit is not listed in the description, however. Neither of us were just jumping on the bed like children. I have attached photos of the damaged plastic, and what I did to repair it (instead of trying to resolve this with the company). An additional reviewer who posted a fix is to be thanked I bought all the parts needed to fix my laptop for under $10 When you secure the legs (square nuts, wing nuts, and washers), the furniture looks better than ever. It is necessary to revise the plastic pieces of the company. There is just too much skin on them.
