It makes noise whenever it moves. The update is It makes me really sad to sit in that There is a greater creaking from the chair whenever it is moved. My old chair has become a corner seat where some miscellaneous items are stored. I have since purchased a new chair. This is not a chair I would recommend purchasing. It is lower than my previous chair, which was too low for my workstation. It was difficult for my back to support my weight in my previous chair because it only rose to 20" off the ground.
