There are no indications that this item is made from German solid beech wood. Apart from the legs, which appear to be solid wood, the table is not made of solid wood at all. A wooden board is made from layers of glued wood. This stool is quite nice, in spite of that. I found it to be sturdy and will be able to use it. It is disappointing that they both cheapened the product and misrepresented the materials in an intentionally misleading manner.

That's a bummer! Not only does it not seem sturdy, but it is not comfortable either! Taking a spin on carpet can cause the legs to wobble and the chair to tilt, requiring the need to reach out to steady oneself and giving an adrenaline rush to the ticker, not conducive to you channeling your The floating screw on the stool does not keep any of the parts of the stool locked in place, so every time you sit on it and turn your head left or right, the floating screw is spinning upwards or downwards. Exactly like the spindle, which is annoying as hell. While it is very cute and does feel solid enough to repurpose as a rock and crystal display table, I may decide to do so in the future. I will be looking for a stool that I will find more comfortable and stick with one of my regular table chairs for now, since this is NOT a good stool for sitting at a canvas for hours to paint.

I've edited it Despite being used for 17 months, it is severely cracked, squeaks, rocks and feels horrible to the touch. -I find that my unopened boxes of Soylent function and cushion better, -but I haven't opened them yet - In July, I ordered this and 8 months later it cracked. Though I love the design and wood, it is always wobbly and has sharp edges around the edge that make it difficult for constant sitting in a seated position as I require for my job. It would swivel down when the chair was not in use, and for the first few months it would produce endless wood dust. In spite of this, it feels good to rest your leg on and it has good height adjustment. I would like the seat edge to be a little smoother as well. Based on my measurements, I am 110 lbs and the shirt doesn't seem to support me to 100%.

I am currently working from a hallway as my "office. " The kitchen stool I was using was not adjustable even though I had an adjustable standing desk. This little stool can be found I had no trouble assembling it. All of the materials are of solid quality. negative is that there are only three legs instead of four, and therefore a smaller footprint is possible. There is a chance the stool could topple. It has advantages that are greater than the disadvantages. I have experienced it myself. I have tied a small pillow on top of it in order to make it more comfortable. My situation has been made so much easier with it. Maybe it will be an excellent choice for you as well because you have a small space.

Metal to metal assembly is the only type of assembly. Design of the construction is very clever. Throughout, there are no wood parts that need to be screwed together, minimizing the chance of wood being stripped. There were no tools required for assembly, and everything was There was only one problem rotating the seat all the way down locked the metal to metal contact, and it took a lot of effort to unlock it. Once it was unlocked, I added some felt contacts between the seat underside and rotating bar recess metal plates to prevent locking, and it operates as it should now. I'll need to purchase a cushion for the seat since it is made of hard wood.

It especially appeals to me that it automatically adjusts to different levels depending on what part of the canvas you are Also, I love the fact that it spins, because I can easily turn it around To be honest, I hesitated at first to buy this stool since I didn't want to buy a stool for so much money. Maybe I could have found a stool for much less money at Walmart. I ordered this for my daughter to sit on while she paints in her room. I was impressed with the quality of the parts for putting the system together. My previous experience with putting things together wrong led me to double check everything, as I am prone to doing things backwards The instructions were clear enough that I had it together in about forty minutes It even comes with a screwdriver, I believe. To adjust the height, it works as smooth as silk. One of the concerns I have is that some of the screws are too short In any case, I am hoping they will not loosen after a moderate to long period Nevertheless, at the moment it is only of minor concern. The purchase has been a very good experience overall. I rate this review a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.
