For my office, I bought this chair as a replacement for the old one. I chose upgraded rollerblade style caster wheels to ensure that the chair would be as comfortable as possible. All of the pieces assembled without any issues and it was extremely easy to assemble. Due to that stupid set screw, the foot rest hoop will not stay in place. Because I am tall and this chair is all the way down, I do not need it being raised at all if I did, I would not be able to use it for anything. A very nice feature of this chair is the back rest. It wasn't difficult to assemble by the looks of things, but I did get two bolts that didn't fit correctly. As soon as I got home, I built the chair and ran to the hardware store to buy new ones. The surgery I had just had to replace my knee came about a year after working from home. When I sit in a regular chair with my feet on the floor, my knees are bent all day, it is really hard for me to recover from this injury. Because I did not have my ergonomic desk at home, I decided I would raise my table and get a drafting chair to allow my legs to dangle a little bit. What I would like to share with you is The cons are There are several problems with this 1)Putting it together was a nightmare 2) Directions are confusing 3)There is no mention of how to insert the seat cushion into the chair pad. As a matter of fact, I thought they sent me a big cushion. As soon as the metal base where the cushion is to be installed was removed from the chair, I was able to install it. Last but not least, I did not get the screw holes to line up or enter the holes. The chair is upside down and awkward, and the screws had to be removed from one side of the base to get them in. They are cheap and wet, and even after several attempts to fix them, they only screwed into the base on one side. In order for it to slide into place once I got the screws started on one side, bending the metal was necessary to take the chair base away from the cushion again. This was not a happy time for me. Having to push and pull for so long took me a lot of time. Finally, I got it in, and the screws provided on this side also did not work. As someone else mentioned in their review, I did not intend to drive to the hardware store. It worked when I went to my garage and found longer screws than the ones that came with the kit. It was very easy and fast to assemble this chair. The chair is very comfortable, and it is very fast to put together. It has a very useful feet holder, and the back support is comfortable and supportive. I also enjoyed how high the chair can be adjusted. Due to the fact that her previous chair was broken, I bought this one for her. The furniture was assemble by my teenage daughter without our input.
