It is indeed thin, but only a very thin layer. The separate mattress I purchased arrived in record time and I was glad I had done it.
A rough estimate would be between 6 and 7 Once the baby is able to sit up and move around enough to lean over the top of the crib at six months old. A person can fall out if he or she is able to lean over the bars.
One that fits perfectly is offered by unknown and measures 18 x 36 x 2
We are happy with the quality of the cradle and it works well. In fact, the only real problem we had in the beginning was that the bottom part was oversized, so I had to shave off about 1/4 inch with a saw to fit it. The screws were also added to make it a little more durable. When the dust settles, the cradle was worth the price and we love it. I also liked how it was just the right height so we can pull the baby straight into it and out of it or rock in bed as she sleeps.

I'm delighted to have discovered it. There are so many cradles out there. I searched high and low for one which's both stylish and elegant. do not like the standard bassinets that are installed on every room- There are no good reasons for that The wheels on the bassinets are definitely NOT my favorite. I know a lot of baby sites and I definitely dislike them. As soon as I saw this, I knew it was perfect for my bedroom. It looks fantastic and it is just the look I was going for. We have shown it to all of our family members, and they all love This is definitely an heirloom piece that could grow with a family, potentially passing from one generation to the next. It was a great purchase for me.
Your baby's room will be scented like the inside of a Harbor Freight Tools store with the finish on this product Made-in-China chemical that is strong, industrial, and made-to-measure It doesn't smell like China. You certainly do not want this for your precious new little family member. There is a strong smell at first, but it goes away after a while and doesn't stink up a room. When you put your nose up to it, however, the smell is still there after two months. Although it's a nice enough thing looking piece (the finish appears to have been sprayed on), up close you can see a few spray-in Mine had poor packaging, which caused parts of the dial to rub together and eventually make the finish erode. The piece appears to be of quality when seated in the room. The frame is easy to put together and the "mattress" is a joke - a half-mattress that isn't deep enough for a true bed The cradle sheet is made up of an inch of foam rubber sandwiched between a thin vinyl sheet and doesn't hold its shape when the elastic is pulled. The cradle is OK if you are willing to let it air out for a week before using it around your baby, upgrade the mattress, and spend more money to buy a bumper to keep your baby away from whatever the paint contains, but it is not the screaming deal it seems.
The last time I bought it was somewhere in I only finished assembling it this weekend since I have been pregnant, which makes it difficult to accomplish tasks at the time of my convenience. As a result, my partner and I were extremely disappointed with the finished assembled product. The material isn't the best. If you're not careful and the pieces bump together, you can leave a scratch or a dent. Please be extremely careful when assembling this item. A mattress with a thin layer is also an issue. You should buy a thicker mattress for your baby in order to ensure his comfort. I'm not a fan of it because it seems cumbersome. The fact that it can rock so violently is prohibitive and I would not recommend putting a baby in it after the age of 3 or maybe 4 months because it is impossible to move. The only metallic brace that is supposed to go at the bottom of it makes me uncomfortable, as I believe it will not create enough support if you use the original mattress that came along with it. If the bottom falls out, your baby may not have enough cushioning. It does not fit flush into the sides of the bassinet's base, as the grooves for sliding in the base do not fit flush with the sides. If you are thinking of investing, I recommend shopping around a bit more. My request for a return has just been sent, I hope I am able to do so.
It is very sturdy, well constructed. My favorite part of it was that it was We completed the task in 20 minutes or less. You have to see this in person to appreciate it. I find it to be a highly impressive piece. This is something I would highly recommend.
The cradle is lovely, but it does not remain In the event that your baby moves just a little bit to one side, the whole cradle tilts to that side and the locking mechanism breaks. The fact that it's so beautiful makes it a shame.
Thanks for this! I've been seeking something like this! There's something classic about it, as it's large and well constructed. Due to the fact that the mattress it comes with is incredibly thin, I did purchase an additional mattress. This is a sturdy and easy-to-assemble table.
This item arrived with damage to the side rails. My first contact with Orbelle customer service was via the phone (left a message) It took me several attempts to contact someone with the instructions to follow in the instructions booklet and send pictures of damaged parts and the part number for replacement - everything I needed to know about the process. In that case, I did what I could. It was the last I heard from them. At last, I was able to contact customer service, who informed me that there would be no replacement parts available, and that I should return the entire device Their argument was that Amazon's packaging was responsible for the damages, but that's not true. There has been over a month since we tried to work with Orbelle. Packaging was great. They refused to replace the damaged side rails, even after following their instructions and replacing them under their replacement policy. The products and services of this company are not recommended.
It sounded very interesting, so I bought it after reading several pro and con lists. I love how easy it is to put together and how sturdy and beautiful it is. Even though I am 8 months pregnant, I put it together in 10 minutes.
