Does this cradle come with the option of lowering it as your child grows, and what is the item# for an upgraded ?

No, it cannot be lowered. Not sure what the mattress is like. As I mentioned, I couldn't find sheets for the couch, so I got sheets that were a little wider

My husband riggered it to make sure our baby would be safe once we bring her home because it wasn't a perfect fit for some of the screws. The cradle I put together takes longer because I could have built a crib with attached shelves from Walmart in less time. Despite this issue, the finishing product is beautiful, its as long as a crib without a shelf.

It would be nice if the cradle had a lot more Cradles such as this one are of sturdy construction and a good design, and they are among the better looking cradles available today

As for the mattress that came with it, it's atrocious for the price of the cradle. The sheets cause it to curl up because of the elastic in the sheets. Despite the price of the cradle, we found a mattress on Amazon that is far superior to the one included for 22 bucks, which leads me to wonder why a cradle in this price range doesn't have a better mattress. A thorough examination needs to be conducted on the manufacturing and packing processes As a result, a replacement cradle had to be ordered and we had to exchange the broken dowel, missing hardware, and misaligned hole in the cradle leg. The cradle would be a 5 star cradle after those major points are addressed. If the manufacturer had designed this way from the beginning, we would give it a 5 star rating.

It holds up well, but I have to give it a three star rating because of the way the packaging was packaged I was shocked to discover that my in-laws purchased the house for an excessive amount. you that you can find one for less money that is just as good.
