Currently, it is packed away, but it is not as wide as a nightstand, so my daughter had no problem slipping it between her bed and the wall. This cradle is now being considered for use by my second grandchild.
From the ground to the base of the cradle, it is 12 inches high. It has a height of 13 inches from the base to the top. 22 inches is the height of the bed with the box spring. If you are intending to use it in that way, then it might work. The mesh would allow you to see the baby because your bed is on the floor, so you should be able to see it through the mesh.
The height of the legs cannot be adjusted. My height is 5'10 and I found it to be very easy to enter and exit the baby.
The answer is really hard to predict. This cradle is oval in shape, but I don't know if the curvature would be the same as the one you have. The bassinet does come with its own mattress. As far as infants are concerned, I believe that the mattress supplied Upon reaching around 3 months of age, your baby won't fit in this cradle so don't waste your money!

The problem we were trying to solve is a safe, non-corrosive You don't want a bassinet that rocks and bounces, so you get a bassinet that is nontoxic. nice, and I like the fact that the mesh can be removed and washed. Whenever our daughter got a leg or arm caught in the wooden slats on the bassinet for our first child, we had to worry about her getting stuck, so it will be amazing to not have to worry about that now! In place of the BabyBjorn polyether foam mattress, I have replaced it with the Naturepedic oval cradle mattress and it fits snugly (made of 85% It was the Ely's and it was It is easy to fit jersey bassinet sheets. After baby debuts it, I will update the review if it meets my expectations. I know that reviews can be very helpful!.
It is essential that mesh siding on cradles be breathable. During rooting for food I have seen my baby many times with her face against the side. Having the slight transparency when standing several feet away is also nice. My first step was to carefully remove the two big warning labels at the top of the long sides of the box with a seam ripper a few days after receiving it. Obviously they have to be there when this thing is sold, but I don't want to have to read "SUFFOCATION HAZARD" in huge font each time I rock my baby. It would only need to be at least 4 inches taller for me to change the cradle. Most beds sit very low next to it (unless you have a platform bed) which means it can be difficult to pick up and put down the baby in the middle of the night when you are already tired. Our daughter will outgrow this at around 5 months of age, so it's about right in size. Here is a sheet tip for you Buying two fitted sheets made special for the BabyBjorn cradle design from an Etsy seller was a perfect choice. As a substitute for BabyBjorn's expensive plain white sheets, this is what I recommend.
When I was pregnant, I purchased this item, and now that my baby is here, I am pleased to report that Sleeping well and enjoying it is a win-win situation for me and my baby. Due to their high price, we didn't want to purchase the fitted crib sheets to match the mattress so instead we bought regular oval sheets from Babies R Us and they do the job just fine.
It looks very good and I'm impressed with how clear the mesh sides are. I can see Baby from across the room, and I don't have to worry about Baby not breathing through the mesh. The mattress, on the other hand, has left me extremely disappointed. This mattress is thin, so when I paste it on top of the very expensive bassinet sheet, the mattress pulls apart and there is a gap at the ends. There are a few things I don't understand 1) why the bassinet sheets are so expensive (do not dry them or they will shrink) 2) how the mattress is so flimsy and 3) how this is This was very frustrating after spending quite a bit of money on it. I'm now looking at the Naturpedic mattress based on reviews. Besides the Bjorn brand, it is hard to find bassinet sheets other than those of this brand.
I liked that it was simple, stylish, and safe (from several sites that have reviewed baby gear). In addition, it is easy to install. But here's the catch In spite of the fact that it is to be used for the first six months or so, I can't imagine my baby can fit in it for more It's amazing to me that he's only a few inches away from the wall at each end at not even a month old. It is a cradle I would recommend again, but it would be even better if it were larger.
I like this bassinet very much. Having a light item like this makes it easy to pick up and put in any room of the house without a problem. It is also springy, you can rock this cradle with the touch of your index finger alone, just a little tap on the side makes this thing bop.
As I've already said, I wanted to follow the AAP recommendation to have our baby sleep flat on his back, rather than in a rock n' play or a swing as a lot of A comprehensive list of Because the mesh sides offer him plenty of air no matter where he is in the cradle, I feel comfortable keeping him there. I feel like there is no real risk to him when he wiggles himself to the edge of the mattress. In this case, you get what you pay for, so it's not cheap.
The design is great. A very easy to use set-up method is included with this cradle. Basically it is assembled straight out of the box, you just need to unfold the legs and use the screws included to fix My baby loves rocking on the mesh sides and the bounce from the base of the crib.
