I'm not sure what the maximum weight capacity is for this TV stand, but a 50" flat screen should be no problem. It's possible that the issue is that the table's surface area is insufficient for a large screen TV, and that it needs to be expanded in some way.
Yes! We have a 32-inch TV on ours right now, and it's quite nice.
The distance between the top of the middle shelf and the bottom of the brace under the top shelf is 25 inches.
The item needs to be put together. The hardware is included, as well as instructions for assembly.

I've recently purchased a large number of their products. Tables, desks, chairs, plant stands, cabinets, drawer chests, and television stands are just a few of the items available. It's sincere, and it's well-written. well-made, well-designed, and attractive hardware The assembly is simple. They were made in opposition to a number of other things, and I'm disappointed that they have been discontinuedWindsor office chairs. br>br>The perwould is lovely, and the butcher block is exceptionally well-made. finished and sanded to perfection The drawer hardware is attractive. If I wanted it stained, I used Watco danish oil, waited a week, and applied three coats of social act 1/2 half pound cut, followed by two coats of Minwax spray lacquer. San in the midst of his layers. For gratitude, there are three 3M Sponge sanding blocks. I just want to get a clear finish, so I'm going to get rid of the Watco. br>br>Excellent material that comes highly recommended.
This was ideal for my Nintendo Super NES system. I was looking for something small with a drawer for storage. The stand appears to be sturdy, and I'm confident it will last a long time; the drawer is roomy, but it opens and closes with a clunky feel. But it's not a big deal to me. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.
When I first received the unfinished International Concepts 647 Mission Printer Stand and its larger cousin, the International Concepts TV-Mission Printer Stand, I was a little disappointed. I was perplexed by the 28 Mission TV Stand. br>br>I wasn't sure how I was going to finish the two pieces because the wood was bone white; while the wood is high quality hardwood and a good value, I'm guessing these pieces were made in Vietnam and were probably Chinese oak. br>br>The cost of shipping for these two items, which I bought on Amazon. com was quick, and the packages' contents were in excellent condition, with no missing parts. It was simple to put together. However, it took several weeks for me to make a decision about how I would finish the wood. br>br>I'm not a big fan of staining wood because, even when done correctly, it takes a long time for the stain to dry, especially if more than one coat is used. br>br>Mission furniture should be a darker shade of brown. However, I was unable to find a way to sufficiently darken either of these pieces, so I decided that Minwax Polyshades would be the best option for me. Mission Oak and American Chestnut were the only colors I could think of. I chose American Chestnut because the color was a little darker and I thought it would better match my existing furniture. The can of stain/finish, a good brush, a clean cloth for wiping excess stain/finish, and a can of odorless mineral spirits were the tools I used to finish the two pieces. Polyshades should be applied with a brush, just like stain, and the excess should be wiped away after a few minutes. The goal is to apply a very light first coat. br>br>Due to the numerous joints and surfaces in these two products, it took a long time to get both pieces to the point where the stain/finish appeared to be applied properly. The application process took well over ten hours in several stages if I worked at a steady pace. The end result was a light golden-brown color. The finish is bronze in color. br>br>While purists might argue that sanding is required before doing something like this, I couldn't see the point because polyshades will adhere to just about anything. The results I got weren't going to win a prize in a finishing competition, but they were still very, very good. br>br>While I applied three coats of polyshades to each of the tabletops and shelves, I did nothing to the slats and sides of each piece except apply one coat, steel wool the burrs, and apply a good coat of furniture wax. br>br>I thought sanding the sides and reapplying more stain/finish would be excessive. I don't know about you, but when I look at a table, my attention is drawn to the tabletop rather than the legs, which are often obscured and darkened when placed in a room with normal lighting. After all, most factory-made furniture isn't going to be finished with a thick coat of polyurethane in the first place. br>br>I'm not sure if sanding this type of oak would have resulted in a dark stain. It's not likely, in my opinion.
I noticed a long crack in the top of the desk as I was varnishing it. While it had no effect on structural integrity, it was noticeable and should have been caught by quality control before it was shipped out of the factory. While I had the option of returning the item, doing so is inconvenient for an item like this because it necessitates repacking a large box, and there never seems to be enough space once it is unpacked. We're using it as a printer stand because we don't want to disassemble it and wait for a replacement. br>br>Of course, "you get what you pay for," but I believe that basic quality should be guaranteed.
I couldn't seem to get this item to stain. It's most likely due to user error, but it's still a good piece of furniture. I'm going to keep using it until I find something that matches.
Both pieces were made of solid wood, which I discovered. It's a breeze to assemble. I wish I could give it more than five stars, but that's the highest I can give it. International Concepts is a great place to order from.
It was easy to put together, stained nicely, and it looks great in the corner.
It's been a week since I've received Bit. It had only recently been opened. Hardware is missing. As well as instructions. I'm at a loss for words. Without any of the necessary hardware.
