It was only recently measured. The width is exactly 22"br>You'll block the lower side vents, but that shouldn't be a problem.
The shelving on the inside can be moved or rearranged. The size of the pegs is determined by where they are placed. They'll work if the 27u shelves are the same size and have a slot for the peg.
The issue is not your weight, Mary Ann. The problem is that this stand's width is only 22", so if your TV base is wider than that, it will not fit.br>Eric C.

This cabinet is one of my favorites. br>The construction is sturdy and solid. The door is tinted glass with a hole for IR remotes. The sides are a solid black color. There are several slots around the base, as shown, that can be used to run wire or allow air to flow. I'm not sure what kind of material the cabinet is (composite? plastic?). wood? MDF? It's not perfect, but it's a good start. If you're not concerned with neatness, the back panel has a removable center and plenty of openings for cooling air flow or wiring. The back panel is more akin to a skeleton than a panel, but it is still a panel with more solid spaces than open ones. br>Despite the fact that the back center is removable, the bottom shelf and, if set high enough, the top shelf are both obstructed. I call this minor because much of it can still be accessed with a little extra effort; for example, I put the receiver/amp on a center shelf and have no trouble accessing the cabling to and from it. I put the HTPC on the top shelf and only have HDMI, network, and power cables running to it, so there aren't many cables to reach there. It would be even less with a DVD player. In the end, the less-expensive option should be chosen. In these positions, there are no wired devices. The front door is easily reversible (it took me about 5 minutes to reverse mine). I was able to adjust the hinges so that it closed perfectly level and evenly. The door itself appears to be slightly bowed, so there is a minor difference in the center gap along the vertical side. br>The cabinet is bulky, and the wheels appear to only go in one direction, which is inconvenient. br>Instead of cheap dowel inserts in drilled holes, the shelves are held up by screws with extra large shoulderered heads and two rubber o-rings. The ring serves as a shelf cushion. I was blown away by how strong each shelf support (4-inch) was. per shelf) were extremely well-made and durable. The shelves themselves have notches to rest on the screw heads, preventing them from sliding around and allowing enough space in the back to neatly drape cabling inside the cabinet. A fan-powered device, such as a PC or amplifier, is also unlikely to vibrate the shelves. br>br>Excellent cabinet; I recommend it if you're putting together a nice home theater and require a user-friendly component. Equipment should be kept in an easily accessible location.
Pros: I bought it to store equipment for a home theater setup, and it's a great product. It appears to be fantastic! It appears to have been designed to coordinate with the piano black B. I spent a lot of money on speakers and other equipment for this home theater setup. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. The company that makes deliveries. This is something I ordered through Amazon Prime, and it took two days for it to arrive. Delivery on the same day. This item arrived two or more days late, so my installers were unable to use it. I had to call the company several times to check on the status of the delivery. They kept telling me it was on its way, but it never showed up. I finally called Amazon, and at 7 p. m. that same night, a pickup truck arrived in my driveway. 30 PM. The driver requested my assistance in getting the item into my front door. I expected more assistance with this large box after being late, outside his delivery window, and needing assistance getting the product inside my front door. He claimed, however, that all he was required to do was deliver inside the front door. I would have refused this delivery and taken it up with Amazon later if I had another source for this product. When I looked over the paperwork, I saw that this was supposed to be a two-person job, but only one small man in a red pickup truck showed up. I guess I was hoping for a little more during the holidays to compensate for the terrible customer service.
Overall, it was a good experience. conceived and built With the exception of a few issues, everything is as described: 1. The 'open back' or'removable back' isn't quite as open as it appears. On the back, there is a structural frame that will prevent access to the bottom shelf (where one would logically keep their heavy and highly-valuable items). connect the eqpt eqpt eqpt eqp As a result, there is a significant barrier to entry. This frame accommodates the removable piece. There is no pivoting or swiveling of the casters. They are only capable of forward and backward movement. There were a few cracks on the back of my unit, but they appeared to be cosmetic rather than structural. The issue was resolved by Amazon. I'm having trouble aligning the door. With a $1000 cabinet, none of these problems should arise.
I had high expectations for the price I paid. br>br>It is not very sturdy; every time I open and close the door, unless I do so very carefully, the entire tower moves, and my record player, as well as the needle, moves. br>br>I was expecting a lot more for such a high price, and it also came with some scratches on the back. Overall, I would not recommend it because the price is too high for what you get.
This component cabinet is well-designed and constructed. It appears to be of higher quality than some of the other cabinets in its price range that require assembly. It comes fully assembled and is well packaged. The delivery man placed it exactly where it needed to be in the house. br>It's the thing that's keeping my sub- The woofer, surround sound receiver, UPS unit, and home theater PC are all in perfect working order. I would strongly suggest it.
While I adore this rack, at $1,000, I have to admit that it is a bit pricey. I believe that $700 would be a reasonable price for this BDI unit. br>br>An oddity is that the unit ships assembled. There's no reason to do this, and I'm sure it just adds to the shipping and manufacturing costs. br>br>The Door and Top are both made of glass. I really like how the door closes slowly. br>br>The unit is a little larger than I anticipated, and I wish they had made a unit with one less shelf. I took the wheels off to make the unit smaller because I won't be moving it more than a few inches. br>br>Overall, I like the design and quality, but it is too expensive for me.
