Her dorm room bed was too high for my freshman daughter, who is 5'2 and had trouble getting into it. I bought this product for her initially for this reason. A stool like this is very important to her. Whenever she needs it we can pull it out and open it when we don't need it. She also loves the fact that she can fold it up and leave it under the bed when she isn't using it. Despite the fact that it claims to hold "up to 300 pounds", it doesn't actually hold that much. It cracked in the middle when I stood up on it to hang her curtains, and I'm a big girl, around 200 lbs but under 300 lbs. We had a stool that did not support “up to 300 lbs”. We weren't sure if it was just me or the stool. If someone bigger wanted to use it, they would need to stand with their feet close to the edges where the bottom supports are instead of in the center where there is no support. Maybe change the description to 400 lbs, then I wouldn't have expected the stool to support that weight.
My toddler is the main reason I bought this stool, so it was definitely a cautious purchase on my part. There were reviews that stated that it doesn't 'lock' in place until there is weight on top of The lack of ease of use was a bother for me, and I had waited until my sister had one and I saw her use it with ease before I purchased it. There is no danger! I tested it myself. br>
True, it doesn't "lock" until there is weight on it (meaning it lifts slightly along the lengthwise direction), but it does while it is holding weight on it. There is no reason to be concerned about this safety issue. In all directions I tried to step on it and it is safe (I weigh 200 lbs). As well as the 'lift,' this is extremely small. People will be prevented from falling or slipping because of the rubber circles. If you are worried about that, it's really not a problem (unless you get a defective unit). The whole thing cannot collapse on its own when it is This is pretty sturdy for me, so I trust that my toddler can do it just fine (and has done it).
Despite the fact that this is an innovative design for a step stool, the item is made from very fragile After one day of use, it failed to hold together and broke. It was fortunate that as soon as my ankle broke, I didn't twist it. Although I had not requested this, the manufacturer sent a replacement anyway A review of the product must have been read by them. Soon, I will let you know what the 2nd unit looks like.
The chair is also used by her to sit on while she plays and crafts at the coffee table. The weight of an adult is 175 pounds. I have stepped up on the stool to reach higher shelves in the kitchen, etc. There is no risk of the stool flipping over or closing automatically when I am Among other things, the stool's standing area on top has rubber circles which prevent it from slipping, as well as rubber pads at the bottom of the legs to keep it firmly in place. Since it folds up flat, it is very convenient and compact for storage. It is a great space saver that can be taken with you to parks and such in the car. I highly recommend it! The more I buy, the easier it will be to keep them around the house!.
The microwave and upper cabinets in my travel trailer seem a little out of reach for me. There's an easy way to solve that problem with this folding step stool. You can unfold it with one hand and fold it back up into a compact size for easy storage at the same time. While watching TV, it can also be used as a foot stool. The stand is used by me outside next to the chair to store my cup of coffee and magazines. It is a sturdy little stool with great durability. It has many possible uses, so it is worth buying.
I was in need of a step for my toilet The second training session The year is It is the same device used to climb onto the toilet as when we were youngsters. It folds up almost instantly for storage when it is not in use. -One star down because it is very easy to pinch your finger in the place where the handle folds into the base, and it wouldn't have been that difficult to round that edge or leave a small gap so as to prevent this from being possible. Once my daughter pinched her finger really hard, she stopped picking it up or moving it into position with her hands. Now she won't touch it at all and only uses the broom.
This stool is used by my 2 year old to help her wash her hands and go potty. The side table folds up and can be tucked under the sink vanity and next to the toilet when not in use. She found it a little difficult at first because the handle, where you pick it up from, is very small and it could easily pinch her fingers. even managed to pinch the side of her arm that was open when she opened.
Our other one is from a retail store, and it seemed rickety every time we used it. As a 140-pound person, I somehow broke the stool I bought from a cheap store. THESE, however, are a totally different story. A sturdy stool like this is hard to find. Despite its strength and solidity, it still seems fragile at times. To the point that it is almost like standing on an old The surface is sturdy enough for you to stand on and weigh down on it. In comparison to other brands that often feel cheap and breakable, I would highly recommend this stool. There is also no "for kids" component to it. The chair is designed to hold adult weight, so you can do whatever you want with it.
