Having shown her a picture of it, my little girl was enthralled. It didn't seem to matter who was more excited, she or I. Those feelings are now a thing of the past. A FEELING OF PRESENT - I didn't care about the dents and scratches on the items, as they were fresh out of the package and they seemed perfect to my toddler Here is a simple stool I decided to make. There was nothing wrong with it, not only does it look very easy to put together, but the instructions were also very simple so I decided what the heck, I'll just assemble it quickly and I'll disassemble it and box it up for her later tonight. What a mistake it was to think this would be simple. I can't line up any of the holes! There is no way I can compensate for the time wasted on this in order to see the disappointment my little girl experienced. I guess that this piece of crap is to blame for all of my negative experiences. A couple of poor reviews for this item are all that there are. I was shocked at this finding. It was precisely because of the rave reviews that I finalized my decision to order The ONLY Battat product I've ever been unhappy with until today was this one.
I believe it is about 10" from the ground to the top step, and she has a fair amount of turning room at the top step. It is a bit wobbly and the paint is scratched in one area. Accordingly, one star has been deducted. There was a screw hole that didn't quite align when assembling, so I'm assuming that might have caused it to be Even so, the wood seems to be of fairly good quality, and it is definitely capable of remaining sturdy when loaded with 154 pounds.
It's very easy to assemble and does not look complicated at all. The items arrived in new condition when expected. The height of the faucet is perfect for my 2 year old to reach it. She can push the bike around without any problem, even though it's a little heavy for her to pick up.
There is some assembly required, which is fine, but the slots do not line up properly, so a screw tightened to try and line up the pieces cracked the wood and paint, and the stool is still slightly wobbly, does not feel stable to my toddler. ".
You can tell that it is not of the highest quality when you get it assembled, and you can certainly see why its weight capacity is low. If you believe it is crooked, you need to There are a few screws that need to be adjusted to get it evened out, so you have to do some tightening and loosening. Self-assembling furniture that doesn't have this issue can be found at places like Ikea. I decided to put the steps together flipped over, which I thought was tacky so it was fine.
I bought this to put in a sea foam green mid century powder room. I was looking for something trendy, not practical, so it worked for me. It would definitely be better to find a different stool if you're not looking for fashion. A nicer stool can be found for a lower price.
It needs to be functional and cute. The end is at hand! In our kitchen, we have raised bowl sinks with normal height counters. My son can easily reach the raised sink to brush his teeth and wash his hands thanks to this. Slippery when wet, but not when dry. A small tool was included as well as all the screws, so assembly was quick and easy. is not flimsy at all, but has good weight to it. Though my toddler hasn't tried to move the stool yet, I will not be surprised if he drags it across the floor. You might be able to lift it by holding on to it. This stool is perfect for our bathroom.
The tallest stool I could find for my toddler allowed me to use it in the bathroom. Our counters are quite tall, so I could not find a stool tall enough for him to brush his teeth, but I found this one that fits the bill and is stylish too. The kit comes disassembled, but putting it together was quite easy. This kit came with clear instructions, and it also came with an Allen wrench. It seems to be very sturdy, and I have not had any problems with it, even when I had to change a lightbulb quickly (and I weigh 175 pounds!.
The overall picture The product fits under a sink or in a corner nicely
I am very satisfied with this product. The stool I got is very sturdy and easy to put together. I love it. * The edges of the wood are rounded and the wood is very smooth. There is a nice, young color to it and that does not scream out super loudly like many kids' products do. The small details in the design and the minimalist style of the design are very appealing to me. Having swirls that go from dark to light makes it look as if it's burnt into the surface. I gave this stool to my daughter a day early since her birthday is tomorrow and this stool was originally supposed to be a gift, but the box came with a shipping label stuck to the side. I wish I had given it to her on her actual birthday. Yes, a stool may not seem like the ideal gift for a 3 year old, but it was a hit with her! It is not difficult for her to care for it on her own. Considering it's wood, it would definitely hurt if it fell on her foot, but as long as she's careful, she will be fine.
So close to being a 5 star product, but it would be the perfect addition if this step stool folded.
