Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this with a garden hose?

Yes, I used an outdoor faucet to fill mine. In comparison to the attachments in the kit that allow you to connect it to the mattress, the hose isn't nearly as important.

Do you offer combined shipping if I purchase four of these?

Hello, if you are a Prime member, you will receive free shipping. These are shipped directly from Amazon, so shipping is at their discretion, but I believe they combine shipping. br>Michael, have a wonderful day.

I bought this to drain my acrylic aquarium, but it will not siphon the water out; instead, it will refill the aquarium. What am I doing wrong? I'm only 30-years-old. Is it really 40 feet?

Ensure that the water pressure is adequate. As long as the water is running, it will drain. Ascertain that the hose is the appropriate length. Water pressure is reduced when the hose is too long. Check for any kinks in the hose as well. Ensure that the drain end is fully submerged.

What is the working principle of the super drain water pump?

It's a venturi pump, to be precise. It works by sucking up the water from your sink and creating a vacuum. It's sluggish, but it gets the job done.

The measurements are off, and the plastic is of poor quality
3/5

This is garbage and should only be used once. There are leaks all over the place, causing a water mess. Do not attempt to connect the sink from the inside. The white faucet adapter must be removed first. It stripped the first time I tried to finger tighten it. Instead of this cheap plastic junk, I ordered another faucet to sink adapter for $5 that is made of metal. You can either save money or spend a little more. I also had to replace the Pump because it wore out quickly and was made with diameters that were 1mm too large. The connections are incorrect, and this item was manufactured using low-cost plastic and incorrect specifications. This type of plastic is extremely inexpensive. To be honest, it's not even suitable for a single use. You won't be able to tighten it any time soon. When the water is turned on, expect it to spray and/or leak all over the place. I bought a "Python" pump to replace the cheap plastic water bed pump. It's designed to change the water in aquariums and ponds. It is far superior to what I required. I paid to keep this item and did not return it because I needed the end connection to the bed and the O rings. If I had, I would have returned it. If you want something that can be used without spilling or leaking all over the place, spend a little more on the python one. After getting this cheap crap that was cut wrong size and too big, I did a lot of research on the best one to buy. I wanted something that could be used in at least one way, and this is not it. It's best if you can find something that has multiple uses and won't break when you turn it or tighten it. Do yourself a favor and look for a better product, or buy this garbage and prepare to duct tape it to your sink. While you're at it, pick up some splash guards and a 5 gallon bucket of water to catch all the leaks.

Not bad; It's possible to improve
3/5

This is how I change the water in a 100-gallon tank. 50-foot distance from any sink for a 500-gallon fish tank. It performs as expected - Draining and filling can be easily controlled with the direction valve. br>br>In fact, everything about this device is fine, with the exception of the plastic used to construct it. I had to replace the first one after it lasted less than a year. The issue is that it's made of a relatively light plastic. If you don't tighten it down enough on the faucet, you'll have small streams of water all over the place. If you overtighten, however, the plastic will begin to crack and lose its ability to hold suction or pressure. Finding the exact amount to tighten this onto the faucet is difficult at best; if the material were a little more durable, I would not be so afraid of tightening it down to prevent leaks. br>br>When I replaced it, I was careful not to overtighten it, and I just dealt with the slightly reduced performance and leaks. It would be worth 5 stars if it was made of a more durable material that could be fully tightened after each use. It does exactly what it's supposed to do - and it does it well. It simply needs to be more resistant to wear and tear.

WARNING TO DWELLERS IN APARTMENTS
3/5

If you live in an apartment with no outside faucets near your bedroom window, this kit might not have the right indoor faucet adapter for you. At both ends of the adapter, there are male threads on the pipe's outside. The adapter included in this kit will not work if your faucet has a filter/screen collar with threads on the inside. Because the adapter does not fit any of my faucets, I never used the waterbed fill/drain kit.

It works well, but it does not last long
4/5

For filling or draining a waterbed, this is an excellent tool. It does, however, wear out after a few years because it is made of plastic. I'd like to see a metal version, but I'm not sure I'll ever see one. It's great that these can still be found! If you haven't tried this handy waterbed accessory, I strongly advise you to do so. It's especially convenient for emptying the waterbed.

Almost non-functional After thirty years, you'd think they'd figure out how to make the connector fit a faucet's threads
3/5

I'd misplaced my old kit and decided to try the new one instead. ONLY rigging it with a rubberband to keep it on the faucet works, but it leaks horribly because none of the threads match. The job was finally completed, but draining and refilling took all day. The garden hose was the only thread that worked. Three stars as a result. This is a poor product. sorry.

Great
5/5

We needed to fill up our waterbed with more water. We haven't had a fill kit in a long time, if we ever had one. Carrying buckets of water back and forth was inconvenient, and a hose run out the window to the outside faucet would provide cold water to the bed. Anyone who has slept in a waterbed with cold water or without a heater knows how cold even room temperature water can be. This includes everything you'll need to drain the waterbed if it's needed. It's a fantastic piece of equipment. The conditioner was an excellent addition to the collection.

Kit for filling and draining a water bed
5/5

I'd misplaced my other piece and needed to order a replacement; the price was excellent, and it even included a bottle of water conditioner! The only complaint I had was with UPS, who delegated their responsibilities to USPS postal workers, causing the package to take longer to arrive than it should have, but that was UPS's fault, not the seller's. I was able to drain and refill my waterbed in one night, which was a huge relief.

I slept on a shabby couch for FIVE DAYS over night
3/5

The product is identical across sellers and functions as expected, but I ordered it overnight on Thursday afternoon and did not receive it until Tuesday evening at 8 p. m. The product functions similarly to my previous one, but I was missing a piece, which is why I ordered it. I know it's not an emergency, but I had to sleep for FIVE NIGHTS on a tiny, hard couch. I realize that's not much to complain about, but I chose this seller specifically for the overnight shipping option. However, the product performs admirably.
