MEASURE PRIOR TO PURCHASE: California Queen - Before purchasing, please measure the space inside the waterbed frame. Make sure the cavity inside the wood frame is 60 wide by 84 long, and the insert is 58 wide by 82 long by 11 thick.

HOW TO CONVERT: Simply follow the steps below. Take a measurement of your bed's length and width. 3. Place our all-in-one mattress insert on top of the mattress. Remove the mattress and heater from the waterbed, then place the mattress in the frame. After that, use your waterbed sheets to make the bed.

Is it possible to use this mattress in a conventional bed (60*84) rather than a water bed?

It is not a 60 x 84 mattress. It measures 58 inches by 82 inches. I don't see why this mattress shouldn't be used as long as it's on a solid foundation or platform. It only needs good base support, just like any other mattress. So, if the measurements work for your application, I don't see any problems, and I hope this helps. A fantastic alternative to a waterbed

It was easy to transition from a waterbed to this mattress. I was expecting some aches as I adjusted, but I didn't get any. Getting into a non-electric vehicle was obviously the only thing I had to get used to. The bed is heated.
