Although the bed I received has a very short headboard, I bought this instead of similar beds with a lower headboard because it appears to have a higher headboard in the pictures. Since it would be too troublesome to pack everything back and return, it is still in my possession. Other than that, it is sturdy and a good value for the price. It's not a good feeling (Not very pleasant.

The headboard of this bed frame is very disappointing to me. It appears to be taller than it is in the picture. As a result, my pillows cover up my upholstered headboard. It looks like I don't have a headboard at all.

Bed frame is very sturdy please do not use box springs with this bedframe or you won't be able to see the headboard we recommend a mattress between 7 and 10 inches thick There's no need to worry about being too wide or too narrow with this mattress. I have a 12-inch mattress and it covers about 2-inches. Having purchased this bed in March of this year, we have been very happy with it. Our first purchase was the king size bed. At first, I was disappointed with how short the headboard was, but I liked it, so I decided it wasn't a big deal since it was a great bed and the first thing we got when we moved into our It was fairly easy to put together. The bed caused me red, itchy bumps on every part of my body three months after I had it. Over a month passed before the issue was resolved. There was no way to explain what was happening. It might have been an allergy that was bothering me. Initially, I thought perhaps bed bugs were the issue, but I quickly decided that wasn't the case since I couldn't find any on the mattress or the couch, the bed was "new", and nobody else had red bumps so I decided to ignore it. In the evening, around 11 pm, I was just sitting on the couch, watching my shows (This is my me time. It's time to catch up on my shows after dealing with two toddlers so long. . . . ) and I saw from the corner of my eye this freaking bug crawling towards my face. I freaked out and killed the insect. My husband and I thought they found a tick on our cat, so we blamed it on him. Our initial assumption was that it would be a one-shot deal It's all a matter of time. In my mind, I didn't think that the "ticks" had anything to do with my red bumps because they were Three weeks to a month after that, I found another one lying on the couch around the same time. As I look at this point in time, I'm wondering what on earth is going on? Is there any reason for these ticks to be here? In that same week, I found a dead one on the floor in front of my Though I was still convinced the ticks were ticks at this point in time, I was surprised that no one had gotten bitten. (It is worth mentioning that at this point we should've been smarter and realized we were dealing with sick ticks, not lazy ones). That night, I was freaking out telling my husband that the ticks had to be hiding somewhere and I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about bugs crawling through I put my hand on top of the headboard and touched the back of it with my fingers as I spoke to my husband and I saw two "ticks" crawling out of it. Although I did scream a bit, I can't hide it. It didn't occur to me that it would get worse, but I was disgusted. In fact, when we moved the headboard from the wall to examine it, what did we find? These "ticks", of all sizes and with tons of eggs, were just living on the headboard that cost $250 and looked out of place. Awful! After thinking ticks were in our home, we treated inside and outside the home, washed and cleaned twice, and did it all all over again a week later thinking we were good to go. Within a month, I discovered them again on the back of the headboard and on cracks closest to the buttons on the front of the headboard. I threw the bed out in the trash because I was so alarmed. The more research we did (and finding another one this week, this is 10/16/2019) led us to the conclusion we had bed bugs. I never thought about taking pictures of the bugs because all I wanted was to get rid of them before they spread to my children's rooms. Therefore, Zinus said it couldn't provide us with any support with the warranty since I don't have any pictures of the actual bugs on the bed. It is getting more and more difficult to go through this. We now don't have a bed, we have spent $250 on different products to treat the inside and outside of the house, and we're about to hire an exterminator to get rid of the bed bugs. There's no other option but to set the house on fire in order We do not have any choice but to hire an exterminator for bed bugs since they spread like wildfire and hide everywhere. Again, I apologize for such a long story, but I do not want anyone else to have to experience what we have and are experiencing now. The thought that such a thing could happen to us never crossed my mind. It would be very difficult for me to buy this bed or any upholstered furniture from Amazon or Zinus if I were you. I would have given this bed two stars instead of one, but we didn't like the bed bugs it came with.

I like the beautiful design of this bed and the ease of assembling it. Due to the fact that I am slow, this took about 2 hours. There is no squeaking or crackling due to the rock solid construction. You should not hesitate to purchase.

I have to admit that this bed is easy to assemble and nice. The buttons are only divided into two levels for me. An indentation is made for where the mattress should slide in, but doesn't account for the fact that there are mattresses in the market that measure 14 inches in depth. It is a clear case of false advertising, and if I wasn't involved in the shipping process, I would return it.

There is a picture for the product that shows a different headboard. The headboard that I got was much shorter and had three rows of buttons, unlike the picture that shows four rows. There is a fairly large length difference between the product pictured and the actual bed. I still gave it a Because it is well made and easy to assemble, it earns five stars despite the misleading product photos. While I like how it looks, I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it had such a stubby headboard. As others said, the hassle of unassembling and shipping back something this intricate is just too great.

A picture like this is totally misleading, as has already been stated. There is barely a 38-inch distance from the ground to the top of the headboard. It's so hard to tell that the headboard is there since our pillows cover it. This is NOT the fabric tufted headboard that you are looking for if you want something that will look like the picture shown.
