Questions & Answers

If this is something you want, can these beds also be used by adults? Where does one go on top and where does one go ?

I'm glad to meet you! As well as children, these beds can also be used by adults. There is a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds per bed.

Is it possible to feel the movements of the person on top when you are sleeping on the bottom bunk?

You can't sleep with your kid breaking a dance while he or she is awake. The bunk bed is pretty sturdy, but it is a bunk bed. A small amount of movement will be felt.

The color you see here appears to be a deep navy blue, but is it not Thanks for your reply, but it's hard to tell from the pictures?

You have a great question, thank you! There isn't actually a light navy blue to it. Hopefully, this will be helpful for you!

Can each bunk hold a certain amount of weight?

I'm glad to meet you! There is a 400 lb weight limit on each bed It can support up to 800 pounds in total!

It's so frustrating! Several weeks ago, I received this bunk bed
3/5

We used the same day to put it together. It has been a week since I applied the paint, and the chemical smell is still strong despite it having a Since the smell is so powerful that it fills my room, my children can't be in there. As far as I understand, gassing off furniture is simple, but I have no idea how long to "gas off" a In my children's bedrooms, I open the window for as long as possible and sometimes even sleep with a fan on and the chemical odor still persists. The smell causes me to feel nervous. The Feature and Details section went over all of the items in the product, but I did not receive them all. As part of the bunk bed order, solid pine slats were to be included. The plywood slats I received were not what I expected. Earlier today, I asked the seller why I did not receive solid pine slats and received plywood instead. It is unclear whether I received a Despite this, the Feature and Details section slyly switched from Solid Pine Slats to Wood Slats overnight. What kind of a shady deal I love how sneaky you are! My question was not answered by the seller, and I did not receive a response or explanation. The original advertised Feature and Details as well as the Max & Value can be seen in the screenshot below. It is stated on the Lily website that this bed comes with Solid Pine Slats. Amazon customer service contacted the manufacturer today and was told they switched over to plywood slats in an effort to make it more durable. Maxwood furniture told me to send an email to them, and that they would send me solid pine slats to replace my existing ones. It would be nice to have them honor what was initially My intent in this matter is not to make a big deal out of this, but I wish I had paid more for the solid pine slats. My decision to purchase the bed was made after weeks of research. My concern is that the plywood slats are poorly glued and flaking dust from the brown brown stains on the wood, as well as the fact that most plywood is glued together with That is what attracted me to this bunkbed in the first place - solid pine wood. It's a little sad, is that a I was not aware of the risks that I took when I placed this order, the most expensive item I ever ordered on Amazon. Having received no response from the manufacturer for Solid Pine slats, I am still waiting on a response. As of right now, I'm undecided whether to keep this bed or return it.

Mattresses should be supported by extra springs
4/5

My toddler likes the fact that he is close to the ground on the bottom bunk of this bunk bed. The assembly was really easy to do by myself in a few hours. At 400 pounds per bunk, this was the highest weight rating I could find for "low bunks". This was in contrast to many others that were 200 pounds. It is only because of the spacing between the support slats that this only receives a 4 star rating instead of 5. It seems to me that they are too far apart. As a result, I decided to install both sets on the top bunk and to buy another set of supports for the bottom one. These are the ones I chose I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. the slats are not noticeable through the foam mattress on either bed, and both feel extra sturdy. This product is great. I'm very happy with it.

Having two boys under the age of two and four is perfect for this bed
5/5

Having two boys under the age of two and four is perfect for this bed. There's not as much clearance on the top that I worry about my 4 year old falling out of it. And my littlest is only about knee height, so I have no fear of him being hurt when he falls My husband helped me put together the bed and it only took us two hours (if we had help I would have had it up much quicker). In reading reviews, I set out all the pieces and go over the instructions one by one before I started assembling it. This probably helped a little.

BUNDLE BED THAT IS LOW TO THE GROUND
4/5

While I have never written a review of this length before, I felt I had to do so to save readers some time and energy. (Delivery of the bed was nicely packaged, but UPS's delivery driver looked as if he was going to keel over. There was a lot of weight attached to the package). My first step was to organize/separate all the screws and pieces and start building it In the end, it was easier to put the numbered pieces on the inside of the bed. I needed a second person to help me connect the bed's head and foot. As far as I was concerned, all was well until I tried to connect the metal stabilizing bar. In addition to obstructing the screw holes, the tough rubber that covers both the top and bottom of this piece also screened the holes that you needed to put screws in. It was hard to jam a screwdriver into the rubber to remove the hole because the rubber was so tough. It was time for my drill to arrive. had the desired effect, and the holes could then be covered with the remaining bed construction. This bed took me several hours to assemble, and it still took me several weeks before I was able to sleep on it. There is no doubt, I am in agreement with most, that the instructions on this page are not the best. They could have been clearer with words, In my excitement, I put the bed together and then noticed that the slats were too far apart (1st photo). It’s much more comfortable to sleep in a bunk bed. I went to furniture stores and looked at other bunk beds that didn’t require Bunkie boards (all of the slats were much closer together). I have more work to do! In order to make my bed even more comfortable, I decided to order slats from The Xtreme Heavy is from Classic Brands It's midnight). As soon as I had installed and reconfigured the slats, I had to remove them all. In addition to the extra slats I purchased, I placed them at the bottom of the In the case of Classic Brand, the wood slats were only pre-finished While holding drills are placed in the first and last slats on the bottom bed, the mattress is not moving even though the rest of the slats are not If you were using these on the top bunk, you'd most likely have to drill your own holes and screw them into all of the bed pieces. However, the bottom line was that it worked very well! It was my search for twin mattresses that proved to be the most difficult. DON'T TAKE IT! Over the past few days, I've been to at least eight mattress and furniture stores. Mattresses that fit the size of a twin (39x75) are no longer widely available. As I visited each store, I took my measuring tape in order to determine the size of the It was impossible to find two with the same size and none measuring What is up with that and who would have guessed Even though I was really hesitant to make such an investment, I finally purchased memory foam mattresses through Amazon (despite truly not wanting to make such a purchase). Among these mattresses you will only find those with dimensions of 39X75 inches (and these beds require that size of mattress). In my purchase, I purchased an 8-inch twin mattress from Jingwei This box of memory foam has an inch of gel-infused foam. (2nd photo) I could not be happier! A Phillip's screwdriver and a mallet are all you need to assemble the entire bed with the hex keys they supply. It is not necessary to use power tools to assemble this product. In addition to being very sturdy, it is perfect with the extra slats I added to it. I love it with my granddaughters, aged 7 and 3. following are the only reasons why I didn't give it a 5 (1) The instructions should clearly state what to do. (4) I shouldn't have had an issue with the metal stabilizer bar. The slats of the bed I had were not close enough together to provide adequate support for safety purposes. If the manufacturer increases the price of the bed by having more slats, the costs will be justified. If I had known the standard size twin interspring mattresses would come with a standard number of slats and someone had warned me about this, I would have saved myself a lot of time and frustration.

I love you
5/5

I live in a small house with low ceilings. The fact that I could not buy a bunk bed until I found one made it impossible. With this bunk bed, my daughter doesn't even come close to hitting the ceiling. My youngest is secure at the bottom as well. Since it is low, it can be easily changed sheets, and it is really good quality. Because the ladder doesn't have to be attached, I can remove it whenever I want. Recommend on the highest level.
