Upper bed: 200 lbs; lower bed: 450 lbs.
Hello, the posts' bottoms are 40 mm wide in both directions. Please keep in mind that these articles have already been published. End caps were used to prevent scratches on the floor during assembly. Thank you very much.
I bought a separate ladder designed for a camper bunk that fits perfectly on the left side of the bed.
Hello, the bunk beds cannot be separated to create two separate beds. Thanks!

This product was faulty and extremely difficult to repair. It was so flimsy that no child under 70 pounds on the top bunk dared to use it. Any small movement causes the entire structure to shake as if it were being shaken by an earthquake. I had it up for a week, and every two days, most, if not all, of the bolts had to be tightened or found half-way out of their designated holes. It always came loose, regardless of how tight you tightened it. This was the worst investment I've ever made, both in terms of return and in terms of risk. It's been a huge hassle. Of course, a carrier service can come to your house and pick it up, but the return process is taking so long that I'm worried I won't get my money back. I will not purchase furniture from Amazon in the future!.
With two people, it took two hours to put together. It's well-made; it shakes a little but doesn't squeak. Except for one part, which my son absolutely loves, the instructions were excellent.
Even though the weather was bad the week it was shipped, it didn't get delayed. It seems pretty good for a kids daybed, but I'm not sure how it would work for a long-term every day bed; it still needs to prove itself. It feels like it needs support for the bottom bed under in between the floor and the bed; it moves a lot if I want to turn; my movement may bother the person on the top. In addition, I would not recommend an adult sleeping on the top tween bed. The instructions were simple to follow, and there were no missing or extra pieces, so be careful when putting it together so you don't lose any pieces, and if you decide to use power tools, be very gentle as it is not recommended. Even if you're doing it by yourself, it's not difficult to put together. I still wish there was an extra support bar for the top tween bed. We purchased a Linenspa 6 Inch Innerspring Mattress, which appears to be quite comfortable for the kids so far. The full mattress, however, appears to be a little small, so I guess a thicker mattress for the bottom bed is in order.
This set was exactly what I was looking for. The 17 y. o completed it in three days on her own 4 hours; as stated in previous reviews, this is a HEAVY box that will require assistance. So go out and buy or borrow some muscles. Follow the directions to a tee. This purchase has exceeded my expectations. Last week, my adult son (250 lbs) stayed with me for two nights. He was as sound as a baby when he slept.
Before putting it together, I wasn't sure if that was the case - It is, however, extremely strong and sturdy once assembled! It was simple to assemble as well. It took me about 3 hours to put it together because I worked alone, but I didn't rush and could have probably finished it sooner. The steps are the only thing I have a problem with. My son's feet are hurting because the rungs are too small. In addition, there were some minor scratches on the finish from shipping. For the price, this is an excellent bed.
The navy blue frame was chosen by us. With the exception of putting it together, I gave it all five stars. I had a little trouble putting the bars on for some reason, but I got it all together in the end. I read in several reviews that putting it together takes two people. While my husband was at work, I put it together on my own. It took about four hours for me to complete. 5 hours because I had to figure out how to prop up the other side for support; however, the instructions were simple and straightforward, and everything was clearly labeled. Overall, I'm very pleased with this bed, and my children enjoy it as well! If necessary, we can also sleep on the bottom bunk.
The frame is sturdy and well made, and it was easy to assemble with parts that were clearly marked. It took two of us about two hours to put it together. They include a few extra parts in the shipment.
I went into my kids' room to see how dirty the harder-to-clean areas were getting, and what I found under the bed was more than I expected. The bed is supported by a metal frame that is horribly bent. After a month of use by one 14-year-old, this is the result. a child of one year old He's not bouncing around on his bed or anything, but he's a big kid. The upper bunk is rated at 200 pounds, while the lower bunk is rated at 450 pounds, according to the manufacturer. I'm not sure about the top bunk because it's only been used a few times, but the bottom bunk has been completely destroyed by a child who weighs close to 200 pounds.
