Two of these cabinets were bought to be placed beside the recently renovated fireplace in our home. I have a special place in my home for all my figurines and ornaments, and it is looking beautiful.
If you like The construction of this piece of furniture is very poor, but the piece looks nice. I thought I would get something a bit less disposable with an over $200 purchase. In my opinion, the cheaper furniture at IKEA would likely last longer than what you can find at most other places. It still wobbles violently and rattles very loudly (as seen and heard in the video). I have tightened the screws as much as I can, but it will not stop. Cleaning it rubs off a reddish hue in the dye that is used. Even if it "looks nice" for a long time, I doubt it would not fall apart after some time at the office.
It was only the first time I constructed one of these. I purchased two. There's no magic to this process you just have to be persistent and it will work. It doesn't require great strength or carpentry expertise. I was considering building custom shelves to fill the space on either side of the fireplace in my new house, but these are much, much cheaper, and only leave two inches on either side of the cabinet, so they appear practically the same as anything I might have built myself. The purchase I made is exactly what I was looking for.
This curio cabinet caught my eye after reading the fantastic reviews. Although others seemed happy with it, I was not so thrilled with mine. There was no problem with all parts being assembled correctly, but the left door did not match the right one. a gap of nearly half an inch on the left side of the door where the door would not completely shut. Now that the shelves aren't level as a result of the door being raised in order for it to close properly. Because the cabinet has all the components level and put together correctly, I'm assuming the door is the problem.
Although I am not a fan of buying furniture online, it seems like there is no affordable furniture store with decent quality that is not Ikea these days. My search for a cabinet like this has been going on for a long time, and I am happy to have found it. There are clear instructions, pieces, and hardware, and I am aware that it is a bit pricey for what it is, but I have to admit that its ease of assembly made it worth the cost. I was happy with the fit of the sliding doors. After unpacking the box, I found the styrofoam all over the place and the box was a bit beat up. The cabinet was fine besides the backing, which was unusual. There was no damage to the cabinet, but there was an oddity about it. I am not sure how it got damaged despite nothing else getting damaged while it was packed sandwiched between shelves. Because it's hidden in the back, it's a bit difficult to see. I believe the cabinet is sturdy enough to move, and you can take it apart if you need to. The cabinet looks great, and I am very satisfied with it.

Door handles simply snap into place by pressing the top first and rollers on the bottom fit directly into the tracks on the metal. You did a pretty good job sliding.
