Questions & Answers

Would you please tell me how to hang an Is it easier to use hooks or nails?

A heavy duty picture frame hook would be an excellent choice. The bottom portion of the stairway should be supported by L braces only.

Dimensions how large is this object? If you have tall windows, how many shelves are there that can be taken out, and how high are your ?

The shelves can be removed every second one (four in total). A 2 1/2 inch high glass can fit on each of the shelves when all shelves are full. There is room for five and a half inch glasses if every second shelf is removed. I hope this helps to give you an idea of the dimensions.

The shelves can be adjusted Is it big enough to hold the taller and narrower shot glasses at hard rock café?

There's actually a slide out for each shelf so you can remove a whole shelf to make room for taller glasses, leaving about a half inch of extra space on each For the price, this is a very nice display case.

Can this be done without the background mirror?

A mirror has already been added to this assembly

Display cabinet of high quality
5/5

In light of all the positive reviews, I decided to order this cabinet and I am grateful for it. I was very pleased with the packaging and the markings on everything were clear. In my opinion, it took about an hour for me to install it alone. It seemed important to me to take photos of the installation process for anyone who wants to know more about it. It came with all the necessary mounting hardware and was in perfect working order. My tools for marking the wall were a level, measuring tape, and pencil. To make the pilot holes, I also used a drill. In order to ensure that the drywall anchors wouldn't go into the studs, I used a 13/64 drill bit to make holes for them and was able to screw them easily into As soon as all the frame hooks were installed, I hung the cabinet to ensure that it was level, and then noted the place where the L brackets should be mounted with a pencil. So that I could mount the L brackets in place, I removed the cabinet. In order to prevent scratches, each bracket is covered with foam on the bottom where the cabinet rests. In order to remove the protective film and bubble wrap from the inner shelves, I gently removed the plexiglass door and removed the protective film from the plexiglass door. When I put all my shot glasses on top, it looks fantastic. Instead of having them sit inside a cardboard box, now I can enjoy them.

I like the case a lot
5/5

I think the money is well spent. The cases sold as dedicated displays for lighters are supposed to display Zippos, which is great for Zippos but not helpful for anything that isn't exactly that size. So my next thought was to look at shot glass cases, and then I found something that was This is a nice looking case for This is a fairly well-built house with good construction quality and a decent finish. I like the way the hardware looks and how well it works. There is a bit of a twitching effect to the latches, but they work well enough for the amount of opening I need to do, and help prevent little fingers from touching goods inside. There is a Plexiglas window on the front that works, but I will probably replace it with something that isn't Plexiglas at some point Replace the glass with a glare-free one. I think the mirror back is a nice touch that adds a nice sense of depth to the whole thing. There is a small variation in shelf spacing between shelves, but they are always within two. They were all 5" high, but some were a bit taller, which worked just fine for me. The shelves can hold up to 80 lighters, angled slightly so a couple more can be placed on each shelf than if they were not angled. If you're considering this item keep in mind that the top and bottom lip hide maybe 1/2" of the very top and bottom shelves, which isn't a big deal to me but I had not considered that when I bought My shipment was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I was impressed at Amazon's speed of delivery. In terms of mounting hardware, I used "L" brackets, two sliding hangers, and the mounting metal type pan head screws for hanging heavy items on drywall. I did not use the molys included, I prefer expanding metal type pan head screws. In addition to the case itself being quite heavy, once it is filled with stuff it becomes very heavy indeed, so keep that in mind when deciding whether or not to buy it. After placing holes in the walls, mounting took maybe an hour, mostly because we checked to make sure everything was level first. And of course, the most important fact here is that my wife likes it very much, she actually prefers to see it as a great decoration instead of just tolerating it as she does for some of my other Lastly, overall I would say it is a good display case for any small collectible. Take your time when mounting it, and you will probably appreciate it quite a bit.

It is a quality cabinet of the highest quality
4/5

There is nothing like a beautiful, high-quality cabinet to enhance any interior. It has a great finish and is well made. The project came in on time- The hardware and instructions for hanging and installing this unit are excellent. Our sincere appreciation goes out to those who took such good care with the shipment. The rating I would give the book would probably exceed five stars if only that was what I was rating. To use for shot glasses, I purchased two of these. I have a problem with the design of the site. It takes only two shelves to fit on the shelves. The shelf is over 5" high with a 5 inch gap between every other one to make it over 5 inches tall. In my travels around the world, I have acquired many shot glasses that are slightly taller than 2 inches. As a result, I now have them on a shelf measuring over 5 inches high, which means I can store fewer glasses within each cabinet, as I can only store 52 instead of 72. Additionally, the 5"+ shelves are too high for the tall shot glasses and look unattractive next to all the space above while the 2" shelves are too low for them. It looks very cramped with 5 inch shelves. A better design would be to allow total adjustment of the heights of all the shelves in increments of 1/2 or maximum 1 inch. In any case, these are beautiful cases and I would not have returned them. White was the only color I could find, and this was the only one of good quality . I did not notice what the height is between the shelves as I had not measured my shot glasses. There will be more needs and I need to purchase the one that is smaller but has a greater shelf size and depth, but it is only available in mahogany from the same company. The shipping and handling of their products, as well as their product quality, makes them superior to all other companies. We all know you get what you pay for, so I couldn't really judge their Value for Money rating. They seem a little pricey to me, but we all know that Below you will find photos demonstrating both the beauty of the cabinets and the problem with its design. There is no space for the glasses on the two higher shelves and the ones on the two lower shelves. The "normal" shelf is 5 inches high.
