The water quality was tested with a water quality tester. As much as possible, I wanted this to be my new setup permanently. I spent a lot of time installing it carefully. I trusted that it was working despite the taste of the water being the same. I tried the water for a week, but after that I felt awful and was unable to stomach the disgusting waters. I got a water purity tester and tested a few samples. It was such a disappointment for me. Despite the differences in contamination levels, the tap and the filter produce the same amount of water. In order to determine if the testing device was functioning properly, I conducted controlled tests on bottled water and other sources. It's all good. When tested for TDS in bottled water, almost no PPM were detected, but in tap or filter water, nearly 450 PPM were detected. It is based on The answer is right there. My thoughts I just bought this filter and was really impressed with how it looks from a superficial standpoint. The internal workings of water filters are vitally important, especially since most of us aren't aware of what's happening in them. It is very important to see data from the manufacturer that clearly states the types of contaminants that are filtered and at what percentage, etc. An independent third-party analysis would be an excellent addition for products like these. Taste tests are simply not sufficient when it comes to determining the quality of water. If one received a report of this kind, one would be able to rest assured that specific water concerns for the areas in which we live are either being addressed or not by the filter. While I appreciate the engineering and quality construction of this filter system, I will only give it a 2 star rating (subject to change once the appropriate performance specification data is released) until I are able to study the specifications and performance data of this filter system. We would like this information to be readily available from the vendor/manufacturer. We will greatly benefit from having this information at our disposal both as buyers and as sellers!
