I'd like a refund. How can I get it? Among the reasons why I bought this was it was advertised as a PUR product. No, they were not the same as the ones I got. Although this company tried to cover their tracks by packaging it in a PUR package, you could tell that the filters themselves were not pur. As soon as I went through the filter, the water pressure was way too strong after going through the filter as compared to a PUR filter. I didn't try the filters again, but now I know they aren't even filtering water. third clue is that the markings on the filter are different from those on PUR filters. My mistake might have been chalked up to a bad purchase if I had realized these were not actual PUR filters, but instead were being marketed as PUR filters to trick people into thinking they are PUR filters. It is disgusting that a company would do this! We now need to try to get refunded. There is no way that will be difficult (sarcasm).

The pieces arrived in the mail on Friday, 8/18, but I just installed them today, Wednesday, 8/23 (Yes, both were received). In a moment, I will explain. Despite installing a brand new filter into my PUR faucet filtration unit, it still lit up red when it was used. As far as I'm concerned, I just let it run the entire 5 minutes. Later, my son reminded me to change the filter when he noticed the water blinking red as he got in the shower. So, after telling him that I already did, I went to check and make sure that it had been done properly, and now I realize that you cannot reverse install these things. In order to install the 2nd filter, I reluctantly opened the 2nd filter. My shock at seeing it still blink red was unfounded. In the 5 minutes following the rinse, it still works. It probably needed some time to reset, so I decided to try again after a few minutes. Those red eyes are still blinking! It says in the user manual on Pur's website that when you take out the old filter, the system will reset as well. In light of this, I suspect these are just defective filters, and the fact that they are both defective is just a coincidence. I don't believe in chance. Then I checked the filters and noticed that it looked as if they were actually opened up, maybe repaired, and The carpet looks like it has been scrapped and has glue all over it. Having never written a review before, this is my first ever, and I'm doing it because it's something that really needs to be promoted. It is a terrible product. That's all there is to it. The product is supposed to last for four years The pipes are good for 6 months, but after a month they become clogged and water does not come out of it, so you have to replace them. My filters are going through and I bought 3 in Dec. and have already gone through three already. Now I have to buy a new one. If it had happened to one of the filters, I could understand, but all three were affected. I don't think this is a malfunction or a coincidence, but instead a poorly-designed product with an unrealistic claim. You cannot return it either, so it's a no-win situation. We are pleased with the filter's performance and the quality of the water. It doesn't bother me at all that PUR filters are purified. Nevertheless, the PUR unit is a serious mistake on PUR's part. Initially, my old unit with bar graphs for usage worked fine, but it began to leak after many years of continuous use. This led indicator is fitted on the new PUR unit I replaced it with. In fact, the indicator is basically meaningless. Upon reading the instructions, it appears that a filter lasts for 100 gallons, however the LED turns RED after only 15 gallons, which means the filter needs to be replaced. I have no idea what the problem is. recommend replacing the filter after a year, or if the water no longer tastes as good as it once did. However, DO NOT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THE USAGE LED INDICATOR, IT IS NEVER CORRECT. The PUR system needs to be fixed since it appears to be broken.
