After the first month, the water continued to flow but slowed over time. A new filter was sent and I hoped that this would be a one-time problem, but unfortunately it repeated itself. It happened with both filters. I tried a third, but the problem remained. After I had tried different filters, I ended up substituting a pitcher filter just to have something that worked.
I'm thrilled with this filter, which is of high quality and just what I need. The filter that I am using is a replacement cartridge, and I feel very comfortable with it. The only issue I have is that no date sticker is provided or any marking is provided to let you know when it's time to replace it, and how would one know how many gallons were used in it over time? Although this reduces the quality of this filter element, it does not detract from its effectiveness.
It does not make much difference in flavor, and I personally find my water to be not very tasty in the first place. A certain amount of technical skill is required to install the unit, but changing the filter is relatively straightforward (anyone could do it). Additionally, it is expensive to change it twice a year, since it needs to be changed every.
At a cost of about 10 cents per gallon, this contraption is amazing. The filter is only meant to last six months, and I was trying to save money by letting it go for ten months, but there was too much sediment in the filter, causing water to trickle and I should have replaced it every six.
As a home owner, I was worried about extra stuff that might end up in the water because of the old pipes. The kitchen faucet was replaced, and we installed the filter system as part of the transaction. I have had a great time. We like the taste of the water (cold only) and are satisfied It was an easy installation despite requiring a professional to handle the details of the.
I assume it is functional, but it doesn't work long. It enhances the taste of the water. . . . as long as they only last a few months with a price tag of $79 or so. You are really paying a lot for that.
I love the taste of this The filter is very easy to install and replace.
The filter appears to work well, although it is not.
