DeltaTrak 11063 is controversial to me, as I have mixed feelings about it. Excellent job done by them. It is very accurate. The fast speed and easy usage make this an easy product. It is easy to calibrate. Excellent quality.

It is accurate to the touch and usually displays the temp in less than 5 seconds, so it is worth a try. Looking for cooks, please. My go-to for a long time is this. Cooking thermometers are a must for the sake of cooking. Being able to enjoy the results of my investment; it is well worth the money. Strong, accurate, fast. Operates in seconds and reads temperature. This Thermapen is, for the most part, more accurate than any I have ever used. The cost varies from person to person, but one of these recently disappeared with one of my college kids. I keep two of them in the house, however one was recently taken away. I just replaced my battery, didn't I? I had just replaced the battery! My husband just ordered another one and I need one. I used some less expensive but not as high-quality instruments; they were poor and frustratingly slow over time. What it does is it's a tool; What it does is provide entertainment; What it does is it. The price of this one is very good! In addition to Delta's, I see another company with a much cheaper model. Neither of them can be compared.

What's great about this device is the pace, as well as the large display it has. You must read temperature to be right around 3" before it should be reliable. It takes 4 seconds. I don't get that instant feeling with this device; it gets pushed incredibly fast. I have a device my company claims is instantly. A key to this is the thinnest sensor. Mass is less dense. Additionally, I liked the calibration button on the device. Getting a step-by-step guide through that process is easy enough to do and only takes a few minutes. For one reason or another, I use a thermometer in order to avoid exceeding it. The one reason is to keep me from going overboard while cooking. As a result, cooking has been hampered by the uncertainty surrounding it.

Tip: During the grilling process, it is the short, so when the flame is too hot, you may use the tongs to remove whatever from the bottom edge of the food or poke it with the thermometer if grilling quickly. At this time of year, I usually test relatively infrequently, but if your hand seems to heat up when several items in the package come to mind, that can be a problem.
