It is not there, according to my search.
In general, I'm pretty sure the 3 gallon fermenter will work if it has a thermowell (a brass tube a few inches long that sticks into the fermenter). As far as I know,
Thanks for writing. I'll be happy to answer A piece of this fermenter does not screw in, it has clasps at the base and is inserted into the fermenter via a button. It is not the kind of thermometer I would buy until I was able to see if the 3 gallon truly has the port. Based on what I saw, I do not

I bought this thermometer three or four months ago, and I was so pleased to find one that fit my conical fermentor so I can monitor the temperature of my homebrew. After making three batches, I had some trouble getting to as low a specific gravity as I would like or expect. So right after I finished the last batch, I double checked the calibration since my yeast had petered out and my thermometer said 78° on the wart. It turns out that my yeast died due to the lack of warmth a few days ago, as the thermometer is off by 12 degrees.
A lack of shipping protection resulted in the unit arriving slightly damaged. However, it is still usable and seems to be functioning. Because the manufacturer ships these in fairly large quantities, the flimsy box that houses the thermometer is My unit was shipped in standard plastic packaging that didn't offer protection against any There was a small crack in the glass cover on my unit when it arrived. The unit arrived slightly bent. It takes a little while for the thermometer to respond to changes in temperature. Due to the amount of metal in the sensing part, the sensor will likely not work right for most purposes. However, for the intended use, it should work fine.
Due to the fact that it is 2' above the ground and pointing downward, it is nearly impossible to read There are times when you have to lay on the ground. In other words, it is only really recommended if you have mounted your fermenter on the wall.
Having the ability to consistently monitor my home brew fermentation without interrupting the process makes things so much easier.
It wasn't possible to fit the thermometer in the thermowell because the thermometer's end was deformed. A calibration screw is visible at the end, which I assume is for fixing the In order to close the thermometer, it had to be tightened all the way down. It won't be long before one of the clips breaks off since it was folded over flat. I am returning it to you.
I like this thermometer because it is easy to use and is quick to respond to temperature I put the little petals on the side of my fermenter so that they hold it in place over the thermocouple. I have not had any problems cleaning it or it fogged up at all.
Brewing with this device is easier and produces a better product. It is always ready when the ferment is complete. The metal tabs needed to be bent in order for it to remain.
well, but seems a bit expensive when compared to other thermometers of the same type. Therefore, for a few extra dollars, you can get one that fits perfectly into the port and measures temperatures.
