I liked this digital temperature gauge for how quickly it showed the temperature when I inserted it into a piece of meat, chicken, or a The temperature is shown in about 5 seconds, and it is accurate. I have purchased other devices that took longer to reach the proper temperature because they sat and slowly crept up. My first one wore out after about four years of use, exposing the buttons. This one is my second one of these. Overall, it gave me a good reading for a quick reading.
Would recommend it to others who require a quick reading.

It became bent recently when it fell off the kitchen table and it broke. I've had it since 2016. At Thanksgiving I always have it on hand when I cook the perfect turkey, when I make a filet mignon, when I roast chicken, when I cook halibut, and when I prepare just about anything for which you may use a tenperature readout. Your expectations will not be let down. It was very easy to switch between C and F.

It has finally reached the end of its useful life after I purchased it in the fall of 2014 for the kitchen job I had. I've had it in a 350 for almost four months and it's held up fairly well for the amount of times it's been dropped I broke a battery connector in half in a 400-degree oven that I did not know how to use, dipped in water to clean it. I think it once was water proof, but the waterproofing plastic covering the on/off button has recently begun to chip away, making it vulnerable to getting liquids in it. If you do that, all you need to do is let it dry out for a couple days. Just recently, I bought a replacement because I don't know when this one will go, but it could be years from now.

It was off by 8 degrees at 32 and 15 degrees at 150 when it was out of the package. Because I was suspicious, I replaced the battery and now it is only 3 degrees off. A terrible salary was paid and yet nearly 10 percent of the salary was I get an error when I try to calibrate. While it may seem fast at first, if you've ever used a quality thermometer, you'll know it takes on average 30 minutes to read a thermometer. An added insult was that the clip on the back melted after being exposed to a hot grill for about 15 seconds.

My favorite thermometer is this one. I do not have to puncture the bread so deeply to obtain an accurate reading. It reads the temperature of what I am baking fairly quickly and accurately in just a few seconds. My thumbs are hurting from arthritis, and I can still turn on the thermometer without any difficulty. You can quickly switch from celsius to fahrenheit with a flip of a switch (just read the direction it's all in the on/off switch). I store it with my other bread-making items so it's easy to keep track of. It washes up easily and is easy to clean up. It is a great little thermometer for anyone who uses a thermometer for cooking or baking and I would definitely recommend it.

The unit was purchased in June of 2019 and just broke today, May of When I went to inspect the screen, it was foggy, so I opened it to find water inside. When I opened the battery compartment to find it corroded. After owning it for so long today, I'm surprised that it worked so well for so long. Extra batteries were even included with the device. Portable and lightweight, it's perfect for travel. The interface is straightforward and easy As well as being waterproof, it is also supposed to be stain-resistant. I tried to fix it, but no luck.
