Thank you for your purchase! I am very pleased with it. The purpose of this pair of thermometers is to oversee the temperature of the 190° F water bath in my workshop. My goal is not to boil, but I need to keep the temperature low. I tested these thermometers in boiling water and both of them read a little below 7° F (i. e. 205 degrees Fahrenheit was read on the boiling water thermometer). In any case, it can be easily explained by altitude and barometric pressure differences between the place where they were manufactured and the location where I am One of the interesting things about them is they read I know I need a small correction factor in these, but these are PERFECT for what I need, and again, they are a GREAT value.
