A reduction of in at least 80% in the amount of oil splatter from cooking. In the past, I've been burned I'm finally letting the spotted arms and face rest, and the marks are much lighter now. It's important that you check that the spinny thing in your dishwasher can spin with this inside before putting it I cannot imagine mine will, so I will handwash it. Another one for my other large pan is probably on the way so I can run both at the same time.

My wife made burgers a couple of nights ago, and I decided to use the leftover patties this evening. Unlike on the last day, there was no splatter. Construction of high quality. So far I have gone through 2 splash guards and so far this is the best. It's a solid construction where the mesh is strongly attached to the frame of the guard, unlike the last one where the mesh slowly fell off and left an opening that allowed oil to get in. In addition, the mesh is thick enough so that you can put vegetables on top for a light roast as you cook your meals. It also covers a majority of my large pans because its diameter is a great size. The appliance will make a great addition to any kitchen, and it will stand the test of.

Because of how tired I was of cleaning up splatter daily on my stove, this is what I ordered. I really like how easy it is to use, and how well it helps reduce oil splatter. Despite its size, this piece of cookware needs to be cleaned by hand as it does not fit in my dishwasher. I use it on both my large and 8-inch.
