The grinders do exactly what they are supposed to do, and I am very satisfied with them. In one jar, I have peppercorns and in the other, pink rock salt. I have to cover them with jar lids to keep them clean, but it does not look good. Unfortunately, there are no covers to keep them from dust. I would have given it a five if it were covered.

We really like this automatic grinder because you can flip it upside down and it will turn on, then flip it again and it will turn off Using a hand is much better than using an older style pepper grinder that you have to twist to grind the The best part is that it is rechargeable, so no batteries are needed. It also has a setting that lets you grind small pieces into very fine powder. Due to my arthritis in my hand, I have found this product to be a great help! It is a highly recommended book!.

There's something I didn't quite get right

As a replacement for a set I owned that required several AA batteries each, I bought this set. As a result, they quit their jobs. Pepper is one of my favorite foods so these are great, except that one of them won't turn off, so as it turns over it spills pepper all over the place. I haven't even had them a month yet but they never worked the way they were supposed to. This will be a pain to return, so I hope the charge is strong enough to last for a while and that there won't be any.

My first impression of this device is that it is cool and easy to use, but the button broke after 3 uses and now I think the slightest angle will grind the screen and shorten the battery life faster.
