do not believe that is the case. They are specifically designed to fit LeCreuset food mills of that size and color. This may be helpful to you when choosing

If you are using the mill after the cap is removed, does the mill rest on it or must it be placed back on?

Simply put the mill on the cap, as it is silicone, it is going to stay in place

Although I love these little guys, it only gets one star for value since you get 1 star for the original le creuset mills because they SHOULD come with the set. As far as keeping your surfaces clean, the mill caps do their job, but again, they should come with the mills. A pot without a lid is just like one without a lid.

S&P residue is no longer a problem with this solution! It would be best if they came with the mill! In addition to my Le Creuset mills, I received a large set of cast iron pans for Christmas from my parents, and I was shocked to see salt and pepper residue scattered on the table after each use

I purchased Le Cruset S&W for the first time in my life We did not recommend caps due to the hindering effects of AP. If the caps were not present, salt and pepper would "slip" out, making a mess on the counter. Perfect solution to the problem with the caps! It is wonderful to be able to use the caps and I recommend them to anyone who uses.

You don't have to clean up the mess anymore! There will be no salt and pepper on the counter anymore! There is no fit for the 5 inch mills, but there is for.

The item I purchased recently will work with the pepper mills I own and have been using. Although the size measurements describe Le Creuset mills, what I discovered was that they only operate one type of mill.

Make sure your counters are kept Having these work great is nice because you don't have to keep wiping salt and pepper off your counters from bumping the mills so much that the little bit left in the mill leaks out every time you bump it
