There are 6 batteries per shaker, making a total of 12 batteries in truly enjoy my shaker set, so for me it is completely worthwhile to own shakers that use batteries and don't run out very often. Even after going quite a while without replacing mine, I still don't need to do so.
You won't find salt or pepper in this pack. In addition, batteries can be used
The set should work if you turn it clockwise, I did the same with my own and it worked flawlessly.

Within a week after purchasing this set, I found a set for about $5 less at Aldi. This set, all things being equal, is a little nicer since it comes with a handy holder as well as a spoon to fill it Despite this, I find the Aldi set to have some benefits. The salt and pepper shakers on this set are driven by the inverting shaker, and grind salt and pepper much more effectively than a manual pepper mill could. The process can be somewhat regulated, but no matter what you do, there will be some left over salt or pepper on the mill's top. This does not look neat or tidy to me. The only way to get rid of it is to vacuum it off because if you turn it upside down to remove the excess grind, it grinds even I did not find an off switch in this unit but this could possibly be an issue in some cases, but the lack of control really ruins the precision and convenience of this unit. The unit would be much more convenient if there was a button to turn it on or off. It would also be helpful if the speed could be controlled to regulate the amount of grinding. Also, it would be good if the product had a cap to protect it from the elements. All those were present on the cheaper unit except the ability to set the speed of the grinder. The Aldi units are the ones that I use more because I can be sure not to grind too much pepper or salt into my food, and they are also much easier to clean up. The only problem is, there are none to be found. It is nice to have the chrome holder to keep them on The idea of having to clean them after each use seems unnecessary, and it makes them look dirty all the time. You can only imagine the horror on the faces of your guests when you tell them "Here is some freshly ground black pepper, don't mind the old pepper on top of the mill". And then, I am thinking of flies, grease and other things that make me sick to my stomach. To keep them clean and dust free, I keep plastic bags on top of The Aldi mills have nice caps on them to keep stuff out of the pepper (we grind several types of pepper, Szechuan, white, red, green,) but because of their glaring design deficiencies, I rated it a 4 out of 5. You will also need to stock up on batteries, each mill requires six It is hard to say how long they will last with this many, but I would expect them to last a year or so. My guests from the state department will just have to do without these for my elegant dinner parties since they would be dirty looking pepper and salt mills. They have held up well, they grind well, but for my elegant dinner parties, my guests will just have to do without.

In addition to being so easy to use, I like that the product could be used with just one hand. I have tried to use as much steel as possible in my kitchen, and this product helps me with that. The LED LIGHTS on your table can actually reflect how much salt or pepper to put on your plate, which is a great feature. The reason for that is that I can carry it with me when I travel. It has a classy look because of the black and steel colors. It is a pleasure to compliment one's food with a spoon and a brush. The stand holds things in place nicely and is sturdy. The set we've bought months ago is an essential part of our daily life. It's perfect! I'm in love with I love how easy it is to use and how good the quality is. We enjoy using it to help make dinner, and my kids love using it when they help. It's handy to have freshly ground pepper and salt available at any time. A few months into our stay, we noticed a problem with the salt shaker. Our company sent us a brand new set of robes after I contacted them! I even received a handwritten note after the package was sent out super fast. My support for this company will be continued in the future since it is a small business. Excellent product! It was perfect for setting up a BBQ or picnic, etc. The set is easy to use and to clean. Not only is it easy to use, but it also includes a really good guide/instruction manual. It's totally worth it and I recommend it I'm considering buying more for gifts since the box is nice and there is a lot of product!.
A 1 second flip is all you need to season your food when you use these because they are extremely sensitive to touch. You can hear the grinding noise, but it's not too bad since it's not too loud. I paired them with pepper and hymilayan salt. The only thing I'd probably have to change would be the font colors These are the ones I would pick This is *1. There are a few things wrong with them. They seem too heavy. It is a bit too bright blue according to our experience, but other than that, it works fine. In case you weren't aware, you need three triple A batteries for each of them.
It is awesome to have salt and pepper grinders like these. The price I paid for them was well worth it. It took me a long time looking at different grinders because the ones I had before finally stopped working. These gravity grinders are so easy to use and do a flawless job. Only one other thing I have to add is that I had trouble removing the battery cover from one of the shakers. It was something I did wrong since it opened fine on the other one. My issue was resolved quickly after I sent them an email and I saw they had a card in the box warning me to contact them if there were any issues. It's so nice to know that they come with a warranty, too.
