I got instructions when I bought mine. To use, you twist the glass off the stainless steel top, fill it with salt and pepper, remove the lid, then turn it upside down and twist it. I don't know where the ebook can be found. I also paid more for mine, so it's a bummer

It has almost been five years since I bought a Cole & Mason. A test kitchen in the United States recommended a Pepper Grinder by Mason Derwent. Despite spending $40 on it, I have been very satisfied with how it has performed. Since I did not want to spend another $40 on a salt grinder to go with it, I got Oxo Good Grips pepper and salt lack of uniformity of the grind size. Therefore I would receive a mixture of large and small pieces in any setting. If you want salt, I can deal with that, but if you want pepper, I either want all coarse or all fine. It seems to me that I have found the perfect combination of price and performance with the Home Ec grinder set. Hopefully you can see what I mean by the attached pictures. These are the grinders I was talking about in the first picture. The Oxo, the Derwent, and the Home Ec are displayed from left to right. On the rectangular platter in the second picture, you can see the Oxo (top) and the Derwent (bottom) as well as their fine, medium, and coarse pre-set On the round plate in the 3rd picture, you can see the Home Ec class. I started by setting the grind size to the lightly snug position closed, and used the dial to adjust the grind size. In the illustration on the plate, the 12 o'clock position shows two 360° turns counterclockwise, the 8 o'clock position is six turns, and the 4 o'clock position is eight As far as I am aware, the Home Ec grinders work just as well as the more expensive ones. Aside from all that, I also think that these grinders look good and that they would look good on nearly any table. In sum, I'm glad to have found these grinders, and I hope to use them for many years to come. I paid full price and nobody offered me anything for leaving this review. (And in case you are wondering, I paid full price for these. Here is a product I have found that has worked well for me and I hope you will find it useful as well.
I was elated when I opened the box, but it appears one of the salt and pepper shakers is defective. I used coarse black pepper in one and rock Himalayan salt in When I tried that salt grinder, the salt would not grind. It would gather around the seal, and I had to twist it 50 times until anything came out, and the grinding was not very fine. I adjusted the setting to the course setting, but it is nevertheless the same problem. There's one with a real use while there's one that's a complete waste of time. A UPDATED RELEASE I received an email from the seller of this lovely salt and pepper set offering to refund the purchase price and have the entire set sent to me at no cost. The only reason I changed my rating to 5 stars is that there are always malfunctions, but I have difficulty finding excellent customer service. In addition to items from this company, I will also look for gift ideas from them.
As soon as I opened the package, customer "no-service" did not respond to me. I initially gave this grinder a one star review. Initially, I was sent defective grinders, one of the dials wouldn't stay in place, and the other dial would only work when the dial was all the way open it would then only grind fine, when at that setting, it should grind My initial contact with the seller resulted in no response, so I decided to send the grinders back and give less than favorable reviews. In response to my email, Michael from Home EC, the grinder vendor, contacted me and said that he would send me a new set of salt and pepper grinders free of charge to make things right. The new grinders arrived a couple days later, and after putting them to the test, making sure the dials worked properly, and making sure that the spices ground well, I contacted Michael to let him know I was satisfied with the grinders, and would be writing a favorable review. I have updated the review to give Michael five stars for the great customer service he provided. The old review has been deleted as it doesn't stand any longer.
I find they are perfectly adequate for the job. However, after about six months, the silver band that allows you to remove the tops to refill them became unglued. It took me longer than expected to open them up. Then I just took off the bands. These pictures might be better able to explain it. Their purpose remains the same, but their appearance has changed.
It is not worth it to me to keep these grinders, but I am out of salt, which I purchased along with.
It's been a couple weeks now since I purchased them and they are holding up well. There is no doubt that these jars are made of thicker glass, so I am sure that they can be dropped a few times and still be functional. They are just the right size to fit perfectly in your hand, so you can twist them easily. I found them to be relatively easy to clean Shake well after dropping a couple of drops of dish soap in a vessel of hot water halfway up the sides. I used a sprayer to spray the tops. In addition to the funnel, there was another piece of equipment. Although it was easy to put salt in, it would not be as good used for peppercorns. While grinding, the mill part of the top is very smooth to handle, and the dial is also easy to turn. All in all, this was a good I would love to give this as a.
It was originally seen in a restaurant and I got it The best day of your life and the company of the best. To be able to have fresh ground salt and pepper makes cooking a lot more fun Spices and peppers. Featuring an open wide mouth design, this bin is durable and easy to load and clean.
It was the first time I used a plastic grinder. I had previously broken three cheap plastic grinders from stores. This is the brand I bought because of their high rating, so I thought we should give them a try. What surprised me was that I don't need to think about it. They do what's required. For a little test, I put my pepper on a white plate to see whether it was grinding properly. The software was easy to set up and works well. Furthermore, I left a four star rating on the Seller, as opposed to a five star rating, and I cannot change it now. When it was delivered, the product was exactly what had been described and was in good condition.
