It seems like the salt I use gets ground into dust pretty much all the time. It stays a little bigger because that's just how I like it. In the same way, if I lowered it, it would all go to dust. This might be of some use to you
It takes six AAA batteries to power each electric grinder

My recipes call for lots of freshly ground pepper, and of course a good steak goes well with plenty of sea salt. However, after a stroke several years ago weakened my left hand, it became impossible to use a pepper grinder. With this product, all my issues were resolved. Not only is it easy to use, it can handle a wide variety of grinds - from fine to really coarse There are ribs on its exterior to provide a steady gripping surface that makes it sturdy and well-built. A very handy tool for the kitchen! It is quite easy to operate with one hand because the on/off button is on top of the mill.
Despite its look, this is actually a very useful and easy-to-use feature. A light like this is extremely useful in my kitchen, which is not My preferred method of grinding is to put it directly on top of the food rather than storage it in Although it's very fine grind, that's fine with me when I need a coarser grind. A coarser grind can be accomplished by crushing peppercorns by hand. I have no idea what "thickness" as a rating would mean.
I. The problem While it grinds great, I found that the coarseness adjustment did not seem to work properly. I was able to loosen the screw all the way and it did not make it any coarser. The little tabs appear to have broken off during assembly. We will see if they last.
There is something that is not so big to be sent back, but just enough for you to be bothered! Decide whether you want to participate!.
Just switched my seasoning over to Himalayan Sea Salt and peppercorn, and it is SO good. This is so helpful in the kitchen, I cannot express my gratitude enough for this. Because it's battery operated, you won't have to move your muscles. It's not perfect (and some of us are lazy) but I must admit my kids enjoy it, and I plan to buy another for them. There is very little clean up to do. You should NOT soak this in water in order to clean it. Instead, use a microfiber towel and slightly damp paper towel.
The listing is up to date as of The laptop died a few months after I bought it. In the inside of the grinder is a plastic blade. As a result, that blade will dull with use until it has no more grinding ability. The use of a plastic grinder as opposed to a metal grinder is a very cheap design. Three months was not enough time. I strongly advise you NOT to purchase. Paying a little more for a better one isn't a big deal. The A/V review is as follows One of my favorite things about this is that you can use it one-handed. I use it all the time until the batteries run out. Eventually, it experiences a lag, and can take ages to move and can have difficulty crushing Considering the price and with new batteries, I believe it is a good deal. Is there an alternative to 6 AAAs? I wish it took a 9v instead of 6 AAAs. In fact, yes.
When I refilled it, it did what you see in the video. It worked for about a month and then stopped working. Although I have emptied it, cleaned it manually, and turned it, it still grinds fine, but the motor apparently is not strong enough to move it any more. The stuttering sound didn't happen when it was new, but since I got it, it hasn't made a sound. I just could not return it within the return window because it lasted just long enough.
There is a constant jamming of the grinder. Since it jammed more often than it actually ground, it spent more time jammed than During the 2 seconds after clearing the jam, it grinds for 2 seconds and A second issue I had with the product was the way it was built While I was trying to screw in the batteries, the flimsy plastic components felt like they were going to break. Nearly never worked the light function, but who grinds pepper in the dark anyway.
