The grinder that I purchased three months ago yielded good service from my wife and me (no children) until a few weeks ago the pepper grind became increasingly coarser up until yesterday when the grinding mechanism started to fall apart. My grinder was the result of such light use that I am left with nothing more than a useless piece of junk. We used to have a battery-powered grinder that worked for over a decade.
