This was a lighter version of the one I had before. It was indeed 1 ounce, but only a tiny one. This is one of the coolest things about the new model, since the old parts fit on it too. The rug has just been washed and is ready to be used this evening.
I really like some parts of this product. This is a great container for storing washed greens, as well as looking good. The only drawback is that it makes spinning difficult. It's so thick and heavy you won't be able to spin it well by itself, as it takes more energy to generate rotation. However, I have had other than this, and prefer this because it will not break. For me, it is an effective solution. Would love to see it spinning high, just wish it did!.
