But if you're willing to use another bowl to serve from, it's fine. *1) It's a durable material. When plastic comes right out of the fridge, it can be somewhat brittle and I have broken a few spinners because of it. I have abused every one of these, but this one held up. 2) It's tall enough to hold a decent amount, but it's not The middle shelf of my fridge is perfect for this. That it is easy enough to use, even for someone.
When I grow lettuce in my garden, I wanted to use a salad spinner to remove the excess water after I wash them to keep them fresh. It did indeed remove some water, after I tried this. For the same batch of leaves, this process didn't work the first time, and the leaves still ended up very moist, which I had to dry It is my opinion that this salad spinner is ineffective. I guess it would work if you spin it for 10 minutes or more, but if I'm going to put that much effort into it, I might as well just lay the leaves on paper towels until they have dried. The company contacted me to allow me to return the product that I had purchased once I found out I wasn't impressed. They offered a 20% restocking fee as a refund. As well as the shipping costs, I had to pay for the return. If I were to do the deal, I would most likely come out even! Honestly, what a joke that is. Rather than selling it on the rummage sale, I'll just give it away. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with it!.
I usually don't buy salad spinners, so when I visited my sister and tried hers, I knew I had to get one myself. This item was found on Amazon by my friend, and I was thrilled. am aware of that. Is a salad spinner going to excite you? My standards are pretty rudimentary, so yes, having gone through others that failed to meet them. This spinner is just the right size. The handle is great, and the pour spout drains I would definitely purchase again (as long as I don't have to) and would recommend to others as well.
The green bottle contains 10 liters (6. A total of 3 x 6 is necessary. The following symbols will fit 8 by 12 For every 1 inch, there are 5 inches. This is one of my favorite books. The washing of two salads does not pose an issue for me. The drains quickly, it is light, and it is more flexible than the Cuisinart that fell on the floor and broke. It was one I would have bought long ago if I knew about it in the beginning. It is a real bargain at this price as well. The container is made of translucent plastic except for the lid, which is a plain dark green plastic with a curved spot for draining With this knob, it is easy to turn and doesn't take much elbow grease. The dishwasher would not be a good choice for me, even if they say it goes in there. Even if it is difficult to wash, it is easy to clean. This product is made in China, as is the case with many others. Besides that, it is a very good.
Fits a lot of salad and works perfectly for spinning water out of greens. Having an easy to use handle and spout makes it easy to pour liquids. The lid does need to be held down by your hand while you spin, and there is no rubbery bottom to prevent it from sliding on the countertop while being used. As a result I find myself holding the lid with one hand while turning the spinning mechanism with the other while hugging the bowl. Even though the spinning mechanism sometimes makes a loud screeching noise while it's in use, it's not a major problem since the process is very quick. My previous spinners have had clear, hard acrylic bowls that often cracked when dropped. I bought this one because it looks better than the other ones I've owned. In that regard, the bowl on this model is made of a softer plastic, which is a bit more forgiving.
This stops me from eating excessive amounts of salad. There was no way I could have imagined such a thing existed! When I was filling my cart with kitchen equipment I was planning on sending to SAVE over a period of six months, I came across this salad spinner. The moment this book came up as a recommendation, I had to own I would say that it is one of my top three purchases for 2020. My credit card has been charged thousands of dollars!.
In order to turn it, I do not handle it by the handle, but instead hold my hand on the lid. A large head of lettuce will fit in this container. I've never seen anything like this before! The spinning/turning on this device is smooth. I highly recommend this lid, and it was delivered in a timely manner.
It lays perfectly and washes well.
It seems a bit small in the picture, which made me wonder how large this spinner would be in reality. The price was just $16 and the reviews said it was big. I went ahead and got it anyway. Our first use of it happened yesterday (after harvesting some lettuce from our garden). We received it this week. I was very satisfied with the result! It's so cool to have the pour spout - The spinner allows you to pour away the spun water and keep spinning the greens or veggies until they are as dry you like them. I recommend this spinner over more expensive ones that are clunky and cumbersome.
