As soon as I have cut them and am able to put them inside the mold, the middle sinks in just enough that I have room to fill each piece of dough with the correct amount of filling so these are not overfilled and can be folded. The molds only need a small amount of water at the edges, and then I crimp them started out with the bigger molds because they are a lot easier to fill and use for a beginner like myself. My first attempt at using these took me a while, even with the instructions, but now I'm able to fill and fold the larger molds in a few As for the smaller ones, I used them to make dessert dumplings, which I thought were easy to make. I used a lot of sugar in the filling recipe, which is why I found that these molds helped balance out sweetness. I have used this mold in both the dishwasher and by hand. The same way I clean them, no matter the method, the end results are always clean, and you will never see any signs of rust. Due to the fact that I won't be with my family for some upcoming holidays, these molds are very helpful when I want to make dumplings for me and my family. Even my kids were able to use them since they are so easy to use. With these molds, you can make clean cuts and totally sealed dumplings.
You can use this size if you're making dumplings or small things, but it's not the right size for empanadas, which are usually 6"- 8" long. We needed it 7 inches wide, so that is what we got. However, I will keep checking for the larger size. The product is well constructed and has a wide range of uses.
However, the product should be used for dumplings or momos. India Sweets for Diwali are what I used to make I am talking about the I love this product, and it is so In addition to that, it can be used for many other purposes. I am very pleased with the quality of this product. Thank you for your product. I will recommend it to all my Indian friends and everyone in general.
I really like these presses because they made my life It was just a matter of rolling out the dough and tracing it out using the press unfolded. Next, I place the circles of dough in the press and then top the filling with the press. Finally, I fold the press over the filling and viola! The food is baked and ready to serve! The metal construction ensures they will handle any type of dough (and their crimping will prevent it from spreading). I am so glad I found this.
Clean up is easy every time! There were several challenges in the process, including It did not come with directions or suggestions (first time user) and it had no handle padding on it. I had to press 50 dumplings closed using a towel while I did all of them at once. While I was working with it, the handle became very sharp to my hands. It is a good product in all respects.
I love how easy it is! It took a couple of imperfect ones at first, but eventually I got accustomed to it. I spread an even layer of dumpling skin on the device, put the filling in the middle, tamp it down a little, use a little water on my finger to mold down the sides on the mold, and voilà! You can sauté or steam these dumplings or boil them!.
It is better made of plastic instead of a previous purchase. The same one was ordered by a friend who saw mine.
If you do them by hand, it will be easier to fit everything in them. These are so small, you should consider doing them by hand. them, they make an absolute mess, and they are very difficult to separate. Even with cooking spray it's hard to do. Don't go for any size less than 6 inches, it's just too difficult and time consuming. I do not want to go to the trouble of making.
