It leaves me with over 1/2 lb of meat before I even try any of the listed tricks, so I see this With a 2 lb session, that's 25% still stuck! If it was a 7 lb session, that's almost 10% wasted meat. If I just had to poke bread down the chute or poke meat with a dowel, how much wastage would there be? It must be possible to come up with
The answer is definitely yes.
It's hard to answer, but we have made at least 30 different types of batches so far. In general, the ingredients are extremely cold. In addition, we have utilized both types of casings. I would highly recommend this machine.
smallest tube size for this maker is 9/16th of an inch in ID. It never made sense to have something In this case, you are only talking about a 16th of a difference. In terms of the machine, I am satisfied with its performance. A clean surface is easy to maintain. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality stuffer

In a nutshell Several positive reviews have been written about this product. It is supposed to be made of stainless steel components of the highest quality. There've been some recent cost saving measures taken, and things are not the same now as they A number of the parts are made of regular steel plated with an electroplating If the plating stayed in place, I wouldn't mind. There's no way to change that unfortunately. Small flakes of the plating fall off during removal. All sorts of things end up in the meat due to these flakes. In my opinion, eating metal shavings is not a good idea. Is that the case?.
I thought the case was built clean and like a tank for stainless steel and under $200! Some people complain about the fit and finish, but for solid stainless steel I thought the whole machine was a great bargain. A few of the welds looked bad But in any case, it's not a space ship and plenty strong enough for handling small cases. My favorite part was the music! It happened then, but then it wasn't. When only 10 pounds of meat were left in the crock pot, the cylinder started making an odd noise. Everything looked fine, so I assumed it was a rubbing noise caused by the rubber gasket. I saw shiny glitter on the table and on the machine when I went to clean it up. I thought about it for a moment and decided I had not gone to the strip club for miles and miles of delicious man food (salty, smokey, spicy, tube meat). After looking at the unit a bit more closely, I decided to take a closer look. My piston rod was rubbing the finish off and into my man meat last week, as some others have also pointed out I'm not trying to be sexually innuendo here. Heartbroken, I am stuck with 15 pounds of meat that I have no idea if I bought it in good faith for a quality food processing machine that I assumed was not going to kill me and several phallic shaped accessories I bought in good faith for an annoying piece of equipment. In truth, I am going to probably still eat the sausage, since I have consumed so much questionable food that I lack self-control, but you can bet my bottom dollar if I get cancer in my butt I will be back here complaining again! Please let me give you folks a hint as I am an engineer/sort of. The piston rod and the guide should either be made of solid stainless steel or coated with the kind of chrome that a 1950's chevy had on the hitch ball if there is going to be metal to metal contact. Consider the use of a good, thick nylon bushing that fits tightly all around your Please accept my best wishes.
Although it has a couple of issues, I liked it. Four out of five We're amazed at how much faster we were able to stuff 15lbs of Goa sausages using this amazing stuffer. It took me about an hour and a half to complete the process. No particular order in which the following impressions were formed The stuffer is extremely sturdy. I didn't bother with the leg buttons because it was hard to get them into the holes, so I left them out. However, no idea if this would have been more durable if the legs were included or not. There was a lot of oil on the whole thing. It was my wife's fault that the box was stained with oil. The cylinder and plunger had to be thoroughly cleaned after taking it apart. It smelled good, however. The plunger didn't come with any instructions on how to remove it. Seeing as the edges are sharp, I cut myself first and then figured out what had happened. The plunger gasket appears to be prone to breaking. What's the process for getting a new one? In order to load and crank the stuffer, two people will probably be needed. It was hard, especially since I had stuffed 0 in my mouth, to manage it myself. The meat pieces should measure 75 cm in length. I had no trouble cleaning up after I used it. I am unsure of how to clean the gear case's interior. I don't want to take it apart since it would be too labor-intensive. The overall impression was positive. The edges are basically smooth, except for some literal roughness.
This is going to be a lot of fun. I have updated In the second week of August, the gasket started to leak pretty badly. The funnel has to be cleaned every couple of minutes or so. A flaw in the design also exists. Once the Piston is halfway down the Tube, the entire Tube begins to tilt away from the Piston due to the driver flexing An increase in leak volume is the result of this. Last night, I also got cut on this thing again since the metal edges are very sharp. The item will be returned. I am dufus, I am going to update this post on 2/9. There was an error in my use of this. 1 *br The tube I was using was the wrong size. I had to order a size 30mm so that I could easily make the chunky sausages I was making
2. It was upside down when I put the gasket on. You will want to move the flared edge down and the tapered edge While I stand by the rest of my comments, it ain't half bad as a whole.
There's a cast iron lever action stuffer I have, but it's worthless for a one-time use It is the man who stuffs sausages. My kitchen consists of such a thing as - Combining a stuffing tube with the meat grinder attachment will yield better results. Unfortunately, I do not get along with it very well. You can trust this thing to work like a charm! This two-part series I like the speed action. It can insert and retract the plunger in a flash. It is important to use slow speeds to push the sticky meat through the tube and into the casing with as little arm pressure as possible. A great deal of thought and care went into its construction. Welds performed with lasers are beautiful. My recommendation to others would definitely be positive.
In order to fill the 25lbs of slim jim type product in place of the 2 VIVO 7lb stuffers I sent back, I was forced to use a different brand. When compared with the VIVO, it is as if night and day. I found the 2 speed to be a must, and I was able to churn out 25 lbs like nothing else. For breakfast and snack sticks, I needed to buy 2 tubes, one of which was 3/8 od, and one was 1/2 od. It was a lot easier than I anticipated since the 3/8 inch = 10mm tube is very small and I was extremely concerned that the meat would not come out well. There is no need to worry now. If you want to use the 19mm casing, I recommend the 1/2 inch tube. While overall this is a great product, I took one star off in light of the lack of phone support or live customer service. I would like to note that VIVO CS was outstanding. My experience with this stuffer is that it has been absolutely perfect after making a few hundred pounds of venison sausage.
I have been very satisfied so far with this heavy duty beast. If it only came with a 10mm tube for sticks and smaller casings, I'd be all set. It is, however, possible to purchase them. My plan is to make wieners and some smaller brats this week. The following tips may be helpful In order to case all the meat in the tube, bread is used to remove all the meat, so the remaining meat can be used to make patties instead of leftovers. You can press some bread by moistening it and placing it in the hopper. It has a 2 speed feature as well, which is great. I am ETA. The press is excellent and well worth the price. After experiencing it for the first time, I've gained a few pounds. Stuffing with a grinder is no match for this method!.
