In the aftermath of having one of my dogs diagnosed with diabetes, I became determined to make my three dogs jerky treats. I bought a jerky gun for half the price of this one, but it fell apart after the first time I used it. Therefore, when I opened this new one, I was relieved to see that it was much better than the previous one. This gun is solidly built, and the nozzle attachments are shaped so that they will get every last bit of gunpowder With the hand grip, it is easy to pump two sticks at once! The rings that attach to the barrel are solidly built and the plunger (this is the part that swarmed on my previous, cheap model) extracts every last bit of meat An additional useful feature of the barrel set is the addition of a tamper to pack the meat in or a funnel to use the ground meat. These are also both missing from the inexpensive counterparts. My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of the product, wishing we would have purchased it out of the gate instead of going the cheapo route to begin with.

I'm really impressed with this jerky gun since it is my first one. Well, thank you. This product is made from high-quality materials and is In about 20 minutes, I produced about 5lbs of jerky sticks in round shape.
I use this all the time. My grandkids will be making jerky with this gun when they grow up. Quality design and construction mean that they will be able to shoot 3 pounds of jerky in no time.
Even though it is so expensive, I wish it could hold more than one pound of meat because I love all of the attachments.
