The knob above the zero can be turned clockwise or counterclockwise to zero out the scale. This knob can be turned very slowly so as not to disrupt the needle movement.
This is a made in China product
This scale is a complete waste of money! We failed to save the boxes, so no refund for these items. I bought four of them, all of them broke after one week of use. The next step will be to save the packaging until we know the product functions properly.

Four out of six scales failed within a week of purchase, which is poor quality. There may be some truth to the saying "you get what you pay for. ". However, I expected better. This is NOT something I would.
For my ceramic production work, I weight out clay using my new scale.
I like how sturdy this scale is. The platform and the table are both good size The dial is very easy to read. You can use it inside or outside, whatever the weather, for measuring the hay flakes for horses.
This scale is excellent. I am very pleased with it. Several years ago, I purchased this scale so that my horses could weigh hay and grain. Easy to use, accurate, and can be adjusted easily.
The quality is extremely poor. It's a very thin piece of material on the side of the scale. A corner of the steel platform when it arrives is curved as well as being very thin when it is delivered.
It is what I had.
I like how this scale does its job, though the top part could have been a bit larger rather than this size.
