I have had a few electronic models that didn't work and since then, I haven't seen any other. Although it is a much higher price point, the manual model means that it will work and I will not have to replace it in a year and I am happy to pay the extra cost. Dial is easy to read due to its size. The product is heavy and well built. It is easy to clean.
In the past, I have tried a few digital and analog scales and they always end up breaking within a few weeks, so I decided that I would do more research this time and invest in something more expensive. Several weeks ago, I ordered two to be used in a food distribution program (although I only used them lightly and carefully) and was very happy with them. Besides being the perfect size for us, it's easy to read and easy to calibrate, and both the back (by turning a little gear thing) and front (by turning the actual dial) have calibration buttons. In the end of October, I ordered another one because I realized we needed one more. My new scale used to work perfectly until I noticed it would get stuck around the 3/4 lb mark after only a couple of hours. This made me think that this box was probably brand new and maybe it had been sitting around for a while and just needed some WD-40 to clean it WD- has been my go-to drive for a while We have never had any problems with products similar to 40 before. I bought some the next day (I couldn't find mine at home) and used it on the scale, however it did not produce any results. Even other people tried it for me (not dousing it in WD-40 ), but tried fiddling with it to try to understand what the issue was, but it did not work. The fact that I have been so busy (university classes and two jobs) made me put off calling in the hope that someone would be able to help me. I had the same outcome as before. I have a new scale that is perfectly useless. As I said, we only use the scales once a week (and we use it very We bought the original scales in late November, and one of them also had a failure on our ninth day of use. I was facing the same problem as before- When the scale reached the 3/4 lb mark, it would get stuck. Despite several attempts, we were unable to get it fixed. We thought we solved it by adjusting the calibration dial all the way in either direction and adjusting the dial on the front so the "0 lb" mark matched the needle on the front. This wasn't the most convenient and confusing solution (since the "0" was now far from the center), but at least it worked. The problem has only occurred for a few hours. We did everything we could to fix whatever is causing it to get stuck, including cleaning as deep as we could get, fiddling with the calibration, etc. However, we have not actually taken it apart because that might cause more harm I could not get anything to work. Because the one that DOES work is great, it is a shame. Nonetheless, paying $150 for only one working scale, while the other two are defective, is a This is a scale that you can decide whether to purchase yourself if you feel it is worth it.
I purchased it used, and the only damage was to The deal is good.
Scales like these perform well and last a long time.
Good product. An easy and accurate way to calculate.
I bought it for my wife because she asked for a scale of professional quality. It couldn't have been better for her. She is very selective when it comes to her cooking utensils. It has a high degree of quality construction, is easy to clean, and is.
I like it.
